I'm syncing all of my music over, well the music I want on there at the moment. I didn't think I was going to get one because I always thought they were too expensive but so far... the plan isn't overly outrageous. I won't go into the details of the plan we have, suffice to say, we'll see how it goes. Anyway, since I'm a newbie at this anyone have any suggestions for me? I did not get the texting as part of the plan, as I think it's a waste of time or maybe I'm old fashioned... but... the one question I have at the moment applies to this message board. If I use the Iphone to post a message, is that considered a text message? It's not a problem if it is... i have pretty much unlimited access to PC's at home and at work... the only problem would be when I'm on vacation at the end of June (in Orlando, and no I'm not going there to see Gish...), I might go thru ThePhinsless-nitis...
Answer stat padder. Of course, you are always welcome to um, give me the iPhone to help you figure it out...
I'm trying to play "I'm on a boat" on my Iphone... it works but no the HD version... This thing is so sweet, if I could get Sirius on here I wouldn't need to go anywhere LMAO
Interesting. Well, I have an iPod touch which is pretty much the iPhone without phone and camera so if you need any further help, you know where to go. Though I would've waited a bit to get the iPhone. A new one usually appears June-Aug and 3.0 sounds pretty sweet according to sources.
How do you like it? Mine is arriving this week (had to get it mailed to me because if my providers ridiculous rules on upgrading).
lol, I get better Wi-Fi reception on it than most iPhone users get AT&T reception in Westwood. Also has 32GB, which is double the max iPhone has.
Yeah, there is a new one coming in the next month or so... but from what the ATT guy told me, the improvements aren't anything I'm interested in... Text based / forwarding etc... The only thing that would make me giddy at this point is if they made it lighter...
I really really really like it so far... wifey got an ITouch (same thing, without the phone/camera & monthly charges, but you need a WIFI connection for the internet), so I had been playing with that for the last week. Unfortunately for her, I haven't been able to get our wireless router going, so she doesn't have internet which IMO takes it to a whole new level for me. This is just my experience though as I'm sure some of you have had internet before with your mobile devices. My previous experience with internet on phones is really based on old technology. I haven't even messed with the Apps yet... but the whole touch screen functionality is incredible. I've found myself rolling my finger back and forth on the screen, just staring at it...
Heard a bit more than that like 3.2MP camera, compass, better battery life, heavily upgraded CPU, bigger storage of 32GB, and FM Receiver. Some of the more wilder ones include OLED. But I guess they keep adding features later and later. Should still get good use out of your 2nd gen one.
