I just use the generic ring tone. It's simple, it doesn't cost extra and it doesn't require alot of set up effort. Since we're on the subject of cell phones... Y'know I can get in my car and let me leave it in my pocket and 5 minutes down the road and into heavy traffic it will invariably ring...without fail. But I can drive clear across town and if I've remembered to take it out of my pocket and throw it on the console - nothing - ever.
General Call (known caller): Bond theme General Call (unknown caller): Indiana Jones theme Best friend/training partner: Kung Fu fighting Ex-wife: Wizard of Oz theme when the witch attacks with the flying monkeys. There are a few others but these are the more memorable ones. As you can tell, I like movies.
I create my own ringtones, it's rather simple and costs me nothing. Then again, I'm going to school in an electronic-media related field so it's second nature to me.
I have an ex boss who used to go to meetings and when he did, his cell was in his front pants pocket on vibrate, and he always used to call me when I had to get him out of the meeting and say "beep me again." It was hysterical.
