I might be interested if there's a promotion where you can buy both cheaper. Would be interested in the "The History Behind the Myth - The Real Story of The Hot Gates" part that's for sure.

Likely, though I'll end up getting this one since it might be nice to watch it without babies screaming in the background.

Probably. But I think I can wait for it. What I can't wait for is Lucasarts delaying SW on Blu-Ray (or maybe never). The Clone Wars absolutely cannot be the only SW stuff on BR. A real travesty it would be.

Lucas has to be planning on a BR release, he just has to. He made THX for christ sakes. He has to want to take advantage of this medium (not to mention make more money).

Blockbuster is having a used blu-ray sale 2 for $25 right now. It seems to be at multiple locations, so it might be by one near you. They have a good selection of newer movies it seemed.

The Benjamin Button Blu-Ray was pretty good. Say what you will about the movie, but Criterion always does a good job with their releases and this is one of them.

Yea, business is bad in Cali I guess. Thankfully I switched to Netflix at the right time else it's just Hollywood Video and a few independents.

    Just an FYI:

Deepdiscount.com is having their summer sale. If you use the code "supersale" at checkout you get 25% off. They have some pretty good deals, especially on box sets.

Unfortunately, I just found out that "The Count of Monte Cristo" has not been made on Blu-Ray yet.

It is one of my fav movies, and I am dissapointed.

Side note, one of the best looking movies I've watched is Top Gun....believe it or not, even though it was originally released in '86.

I am watching Planet Earth now....gorgeous. I also want to check out Wall-E on Blu-Ray.

Sorry for the miscellaneous post, just found the thread. :)

Yeah, I'm excited to see them all... but I have to admit that not only did I get Cars for my kids, I'm eager to see it myself in BR!

Kung-Fu Panda and Wall-E look and sound amazing.

Hellboy II and the Incredible Hulk rank up there in both categories as well.

Speed Racer is one of the best looking pictures (if not the best) from what I hear.

Last few days of the deepdiscount sale. Battlestar Galactica (the complete series) just came out today on blu ray, and with the DD sale you can get it for an insane price of about $166 ($210 on amazon which is a good price).

correction: It's $151.xx at deepdiscount now.
