PPR league, bonus points for yardage totals and TD length otherwise standard scoring. We went down to 9 teams from 11 last year. Min bid is in increments of 5 with 1000 in total cap. WR=TE.

Other than perhaps spending a bit more on a QB the only other thing I might change is going all out and getting Boldin as my #3 WR but opted out when his price went up to 180. I might do that differently if I had a chance. Overall I am happy with this draft and got a several of the players I had targeted pre-draft.

McNabb 35 I'm okay with DM but I think I should have spent more to get Brees or Rodgers who went off at 135 and 80 respectively.

    Palmer 10 Worth a shot

Chris Johnson 205 I really did not expect to be involved but I made the 2nd bid of after the initial 200 and no one else was interested. Very happy.

Ryan Grant 90. I had him targeted and picked him up late in the draft

    Lendale White 35. Good insurance.

Kevin Smith Det 85. Another guy I had targeted and I was happy to get him.

Chris Wells 40. I'm not sure about the Cards this year. At some point he should start but I hope he can catch some too.

Colston 165. He finished up strong in 2008 and was one guy I had targeted.

G Jennings 190. Spent more than I wanted but he also was a target.

Witten 45. He might be target #1 in Dallas.

Lance Moore 30. He may start opposite Colston but at the least provides insurance.

Tony Gonzalez 25. Not sure what to expect.

Derek Mason 25. Worth a flyer as a late pick-up.

    Chargers and Eagles defenses.

No kicker yet and 3 roster spots to fill.

Looks solid. Trade gonzo and moore for another stud wr or gonzo and mcnabb for one of the elite qbs if that's what you really want. Either move could put you over the top.

It was a strange draft as pretty much all of my targets were not chosen to be bid on until most every team was under 400 in cap. Only one other team was close to me and he is cheap (even with fake fantasy money) so I ended up having to bid more on Smith and Grant than really should have been necessary because he had too much money. If I just go for it with Boldin then I lose most of my depth. Not sure if that would have been worth it for him given the injury now, and his history.

Only 9 teams so there is mostly likely going to be QBs who do better than expected and will be available on the WW a couple of weeks down the road.

We have two waivers to make before kickoff in week 1 so I will get my kicker then and I just have to choose 1 more WR.

Robert Meacham NO put the lockdown on the Saints WR core
    Steven Smith NYG
Maurice Stovall TB No idea if he will start but I have a good feeling about him if he does
    Sidney Rice Min
    Troy Williamson Jax

I hate Ryan Grant but everything else looks pretty solid.

Why do you hate Grant? He's solid if healthy and that appears to be the case. I'd just like to see him more involved in the pass game this year.

    He's just very overrated IMO.

Yea, he was a holdout and that hurt him. Yea, he injured his thumb and that had some of an effect.

But, he catches very few passes, and that'll continue as long as Jackson and Wynn are there. He had every opportunity to have a monster season last year and underwhelmed. I think he's closer to a committee than anything.

For where most people draft him, I'd def pass and take a shot on a guy like Rice or McFadden.

In the two drafts I ended up having a high pick (1 or 2) I ended up with Grant late 3rd and either Moreno or Rice in round 5/6 so theoretically you could end up with both. Grant also battled hammy issues which affected his ability to cut last year. The Packers OL is a bit better then last year as well so that could help Grant some.

Stovall its not really close. Hes a starter imo and the others have even more questions or too many players around them that impact their time.
Meachem has hands like frying pans. Same for Williamson.
Smith will be battling Hixon, Manningham, Barden, Nicks, Moss for playing time.
Rice has Berrian and Harvin battling for time. He wasnt even good when he started.

If you want a few other sleepers:
Mark bradley has won the starting job opposite Dwayne Bowe and the Chiefs have cut Toomer.
Earl Bennett because Cutler has a comfort level with him from Vandy.
Bryant Johnson - someone has to start across from Megatron.
Donnie Avery/Laurent Robinson - Both these young guys have talent. If Bulger stays healthy he can get them the ball anywhere on the field.
The Skins starting WR opposite Santana Moss. Whether its Devin Thomas or Malcolm Kelly both those kids have talent.
Kenny Britt - the titans WR's simply suck
Jordy Nelson - the Packers can chuck it anywhere on the field and Driver isnt getting younger.

Unsure of the ADP on him since I am only involved in auction leagues.

He's not a stud in a PPR but he's more than adequate as a 2 or 3 RB.

Everyone likes different players for different reasons and that is what makes it fun.

I agree on Grant. Everything was an issue last year but he still put up decent numbers. An even better offense and defense should make him a solid pick this year.

I'll put Bradley on the list along with Burleson. Lots of those others, including Britt, were drafted. Next year should be Nelson's time but worth a look in a deeper league.
