Okay, maybe it was the tailgating and alcohol fest from 5PM, but I've never been so pissed in my entire life after witnessing this debacle of game. I'm not a violent person by any means but I wanted to pop a few Colts fans in the mouth after witnessing HIGHWAY FNING ROBBERY! I am PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW

First of all, let me get this out of the way. Anyone, I mean anyone that wants to come in here and blame Ginn for the loss is looking for a scapegoat and is going to piss me off. This loss was ALL ON OUR DEFENSE!! WE missed tackle after tackle on all the long TD's and our CB's and safeties got blocked like LITTLE girls on EACH TD reception. Not only did we get burned repeatedly on D, but from the stands my anger reached a boiling point as I witnessed the non receiving Colt players confuse and out- block every freaking defender as their go to guys ran towards the EZ. Pathetic. In fact more pathetic than Jake getting ***** slapped last week.

Back to Ginn, that last play took a long time to develop, the ball floated, was a bit high, and we can't expect him to pull a Randy Moss and suddenly be a top tier receiver. I don't want anyone coming here and posting a negative about Ginn. He was the ONLY receiver that showed up tonight.

About damn time we decided to be the smashmouth football we should have been.. Congrats, it only took 18 weeks to figure it out.

We are done. DONE. We are not going to surprise anyone anymore. I have little hope for the playoffs this year.

The Carpenter miss was HUGE. If he makes that FG we have a chance to win it with a FG at the end.

We setup the play action all NIGHT long and still ran the ball down the stretch when we needed a TD. Chad got royally screwed tonight.

45 minutes in TOP and we lose? Is that an NFL record? Are you kidding me? The D should have been FRESH instead they looked winded.

JT? Homecoming? I didn't hear your name ONCE tonight.

I've been a diehard for 28 years, this ranks up there as my top 5 worse losses of all time.

I disagree with you about Ginn, but I appreciate your fire.

Thanks for posting (and not waiting to "cool out"). True emotion is always appreciated.

I share your feelings on this one. Such a beautiful display by the offense. And its completely ruined by putrid defensive play.

This kinda felt like the Texans game last year. You just knew the defense was gonna let them score. When we had to settle for that last field goal, my dad and I just looked at each other in disgust because we knew we were screwed.

Pathetic that we settled for a FG after Carpenter already missed one.. Why take the chance again? Why rush it up the gut on 3rd down after our D has proved how pathetic they were again the Colts all game?

This is one of the worst regular season losses that I can remember and I have been a fan since 1971. The only losses that I can remember being as hard to take for me were Dan Marino's last game against Jacksonville....I think we lost 62-7. Also the 1974 Sea of Hands loss to the Raiders, and the 2002 loss in Week 17 to the Patriots when we blew an 11 point 4th quarter lead.

There is absolutely no way we should have lost this game. I could maybe understand not being prepared on the first play of the game and seeing the D giving up one long TD.....but all night long our defense could not tackle....our d-backs got burnt repeatedly. How do you control the ball for 3/4 of the game and still lose? I still love my Phins but losses like this really make you wonder if this team is cursed.

Brother, you had to see those plays develop from a wide angle lens like I did from the stands.... Our DB's and safeties got manhandled by the Colt WR's.. They were confused and got blocked like little *****es on the blown plays and weren't in position to make tackles, which they should have had they smashed those Colt WR's and played the WR's properly. It was soooooo sad to witness..

And Channing Crowder? How about an new nickname- Channing "A step late" Crowder. Always a step behind, always getting his *** burned.

it was 3 and 15 for the Colts after an offisdees penalty, Solai then decided to get flagged for an encroachment penalty making it an easier 3 and 10 which Indy converted.

How about 3rd and 10 at the end of the first half and we blow another coverage and give em a damn FG after we take the lead.

PATHETIC.... I MEAN PATHETIC DISPLAY by our D.

    PATHETIC.

As bad as giving up 11 to NE to lose the AFCE.

    45 minutes TOP
    45 FREAKING MINUTES!

Thanks for the write up. I really do feel for Pennington, some of those play calls didn't make sense. I'd be upset if my OC called for a draw on 3rd and 6 to just get closer to that field goal. That's not showing confidence in your quarterback, IMO. Two straight draws before the two minute warning (and we had to call a timeout to call another ****ing draw?) also is something that displeases me.

I want to see Henne eventually, but Pennington got dealt a bad hand with those two playcalls that wasted (no way around this) over a minute and a timeout. Pennington deserves the start for next week, that's for sure.

What kind of view did you have of Ginn's route on that final jump ball?

From my angle, it looked like a jump ball.. A floater.. Ginn was airborne with the defender draped all over him.

Andre Johnson would have made the catch. Tedd Ginn can not be blamed for not being a TOP 3 WR, cause I don't think most middle of the pack WR's make that catch..

AND BTW, on the last play Ginn was WIDE OPEN at the 5 yard line. Wide open.

I thought Bess was pretty open on the sideline at about the 5 yard line too. Looked like there wasn't anyone within a 10 yard radium of him.

yeah if that was manning throwing to ginn, the pass would have been on a rope and the defender wouldve never been able to catch up. guess you cant blame penny either. he is what he is. i wonder if henne makes that pass

Especially us, High Def.. We have poured our hearts and souls in to this all offseason, posting and hoping for a magical season.. This isn't just about the game. This is about our passion for football and the Phins. And it just got devoured.

Do you ever notice that Adam Vinatieri NEVER misses a big kick...EVER....look at all the playoff and Superbowl wins that were a direct result of his kicks...tonight he banks one in off the uprights....I knew then that Carpenter would likely miss one and that it would end up costing us the game. :tantrum:

There were numerous times tonight when we had receivers open about 20-30 yards downfield, but I think Sparano must have given orders that Pennington will be fined or benched if he throws a pass over 10 yards????? I don't get it? I think it is nice to be cautious and safe and play ball control offense, but then we got down to the Indy 30 yard line with about 3 1/2 half minutes left and we run it on a 3rd and 6????????? We played for a field goal which we all knew would cost us with Manning coming back in. Manning had the ball less then 15 minutes and that was all the time he needed.
