He wasn't the same Wk 1, and he was favoring his knee still. Not explosive at all, and had no top end speed to chase anyone. Even if he does play, he will be more of a liability I think.

Although he got knocked back a little more than I would expect against Freeney he did an admirable job! I think Jake is gonna keep improving and go to the Pro-Bowl on his own accomplishments...
After a little shakey start with nerves and some balance issues, he settled down, got pissed, shortened the axis point of contact, intiated the contact with aggression, and proceeded to shut down the premiere pass rusher in the league in freeney...overall, his performance on monday againt that player, shows his elite status in this league.
