I know this isn't exactly the right forum, but not too many people visit the graphic lounge, while there are plenty if Gifs most of us will enjoy. Ricky Hurdle Ronnie Juke Not so Polite 124?
The only thing prettier than Ricky's hurdle is Brown's juke. The only thing prettier than Brown's juke, was Ginn's TD. The only thing prettier than Ginn's TD, was Lou ringing 57's bell.
The 124 onew made me LOL. I remember seeing that guy on TV and saying to myself "way to bust up those old stereotypes bro!
That pass to Ginn couldn't have been more perfect. And what was most impressive about it is that it looked effortless to get it that far.
Ricky made that guy (didn't catch who it was) look stupid with that hurdle. The guy was eating grass. Love it. Ricky hasn't lost a step at all. His football instincts, speed, and quickness are all still there. Polite landed quite a few crushing blocks in this game. He is the real deal and a 1st down gaining machine. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get some PB consideration as a FB somewhere down the road if he continues to develop.
Awesome gif's Mark! Thanks. I say we wear the orange jerseys the rest of the season, since we're undefeated in them, but that's just a girl's opinion.
Man, I've seen it a hundred times now but I can't get over just how perfect that Henne to Ginn TD pass was. Perfect throw, perfect route running, perfect blocking. Beautiful!
Funny the jets fans are trying to call that pass to Ginn "blown coverage"....I guess if they mean man to man getting beat deep then it's blown coverage I guess... Posted via Mobile Device
The fact that Ginn blew right past Revis - after all you frikkin heard from the announcers was how he was the best shutdown corner in the league....OVER AND OVER AGAIN - like he was standing still made it that much more sweet.
Jim Leonhard I think we should stash them. We used them three times in what? 6 years? Use them on super special occasions only, imo. Thats my sig at JN So they could see Ginn run by the Island...lol
For real, it clearly wasn't broken coverage. Revis clearly had man coverage all the way and didn't bite on the play action. The Jets were in a cover-2 or cover-3 shell, Rhodes was his over the top support there.
I wish I could see the whole field on that bomb. Did Ginn freeze the safetys with his move inside? Did Henne fake them? Imagine how empty the right side of the field will be now, everytime Ginn busts that route?
I think they were backpedaling, and when they realized Ginn was going deep, he was running full stride, so he ran by, imo. The only way to see that would be the full 22 tape....which we have no access to
Incredible talent by ginn to contort his upper body back at full speed, keep his head still and make that catch.. Henne took somethin off that pass. Ronnie stared right into the eyes of revis and broke his cankles...watch the demon look him right in the eyes before he leaves him. Ricky is just ridiculous, that play make me laugh..and feel sorry for future opponents. Ginn..tell me dcordinators can relax with one on one coverage knowing that route he ran is in his repatoire...can you say saftey help, can you say smashcat becomes more dangerous. our oline has learned how to run the ball with 8 9 men in the box for a while....thats about to change with henne Teddy combo.
Not only was it man to man it was press technique...and Revis wiffed..and at that point it was over...all of about 5 yards off the line of scrimage.
Revis whiffed on his jam, Ted Ginn turned the jets on, the Safeties had no chance of coming over to help even when they were in Qtrs. Ginn just split the defense as easily as you walk to the Fridge.
Henne said in an interview they were waiting for that coverage to run that route. One can assume Rhodes cheated up to much and all Ginn had to do was double move and outrun Revis. Ginn with Henne should be totally different. Teams will have to respect routes like that more often, because we all know that play isn't even in the playbook with Pennington at QB. Safeties will be cheating up a lot less on Ginn's side of the field for a while.
There should be a gif of Jets fans crying as Ronnie pounded home that last TD. It will replay in 3 more weeks.
Awesome gif. Question...did this happen before we had the game won or after? I'm not asking to talk smack, its just that I'm doing a research paper on how long it takes to go from blindsiding someone to crying like a *****.
And here ladies and gentlemen, we see the North American Jets fan in its native environment....trying in vain to stay cocky in the face of utter and complete failure. Crikey! Where's the gif of the play a few moments before this one, when Crowder stuffed him in the backfield?
Absolutely. It almost looked like a touch pass when he released, except as cdz said, it went over 50 yards in the air. Still not ready to crown Henne just yet, but I'm keeping that crow warm. Oooooo, yeah! I know it felt good for Jet fans, but what player can't completely blindside another? I look at this gif for what it really was...........complete and utter frustration.
Pagan, good point. Can we get a GIF of the failed NYJ wildcat attempt! I'd love to have that one in my collection!!
