Let out your frustration.Let us know what you think. Tell us WHY you think Ginn is great. It's all in this thread. There is no explanation why he is a go to target and he should be pulled from #1 status now. He had a ball off BOTH hands for a pick 6. He could not jump (AT ALL) for a critical 3rd down pass. The Saints scored a TD on that blunder on their next drive. When the game is on the line he drops it in front of the Dolphins sideline. His kick returns are mediocre at best.Yes,he still runs out of bounds. This is NOT a one game, give him a chance kinda' post. What the hell is the problem? My opinion is he is now a liability.I want players who know what the hell is going on.Better yet,I need a player who can grab the ball when his number is called. This is not about the other blunders we had in the second half, this is about a guy who we can't rely on anymore.
well hey guys atleast he did real good kick returning.......oh wait......no he didnt oh and lmao @ joey porters reaction when ginn dropped that ball.....slapped his hands and turned his back on him with disgust......ahahahaha whata joke
I'm not going to defend ginn, but by making this thread it sounds like you're defending fasano for his key dropped pass, camarillo for throwing the ball out of bounds, the defense who while they played out of their minds in teh first half couldn't stop a thing in the 2nd, and our playcalling which didn't change even after the saints defense adapted to it? I found a LOT of things wrong with this game, Ted Ginn was only part of the problem. EDIT: Oh right and Joey porter's ridiculously stupid personal foul call. thanks joey
I can't defend his play he is way to inconsistent to prove anyone wrong. Which is why I think he gets traded after this season. I mean it would be different if he was actually making plays but he isn't. For example you see Colston he had 3 drops but had a great game Ginn had 3-4 drops and had an awful game. I know some of the balls that went Ginn's way weren't thrown like the one he got against the Jets but tough you have to come down with it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but he did make it past the 20 yardline something Cobbs struggled to make.....
Some of the other guys have had bad plays, stupid plays. Ginn has had a bad season with one great play which any third string wide receiver should have made. Ginn has been a problem all season. That's it, there was redemption in it. Ginn had zero redemption this game or any other. Wiliams had a drop as well but the guy scored three touchdowns so I can live with it.
i'm really not one to pile on a guy. i think relentless bashing can be ridiculous. and i liked Ted Ginn before today. i dunno why, he just seems like a nice guy that's tough to hate. but there's really no excuse today. he's just not panning out at all. we need to move him in some way. and i wish him luck wherever he goes.
I can't believe how awkward he looks out there at times trying to catch a pass. Theres no effort, no fight for the ball, no concentration, no... no heart. On the one carry he got, on a second down... he runs it to the sideline, and runs out of bounds, SHORT of the first down, instead of staying in bounds, and attempting to get the first down. Leaving us with a 3rd and short, which of course, Polite converted. But that is unacceptable. you get that first down no matter what when youre that close. The drop in front of the sideline was terrible... no excuse for that. NONE AT ALL. The one in the endzone, while it didnt matter at the end of the game, through his hands, one in the middle of the field near the end of the game, ball was underthrow, yes, but he made a nice adjustment to come back to the ball, and of course, the ball goes right through his hands. Just... unacceptable. While he shows a flash of brilliance every once in a while, its just not good enough. What happened to the Ted Ginn we saw against the bills last year... One game of brilliance... If he could play to half of the effort we saw from him in that game last year, I'd be ok with that. What we're getting from Ted Ginn right now, isn't worth much. I wonder if its worth starting Hartline, or at least putting him on the field more. Even Camarillo. Its time to shake things up at WR. Henne seemed to look really good tonight with Camarillo and Hartline, maybe thats the direction we need to go.
Ginn is ALWAYS a problem -- virtually every single game. I can accept a player having an "off day," even though it's painful for us fans, but Ginn is just having a "bad career" here. Let's get a WR that can actually catch a ball consistently and not fear some physical contact.
Do you have the one from the very last drive of the game, I know it did not mean anything but I think it bounced off his face. Do you have the one from the first half were he tripped over his own feet? I feel sorry for the kid, but he is just not an NFL caliber player.
Oh I agree with you on Williams he at least made some big time plays Ginn did not. If Ginn could make a couple of plays a game people wouldn't be so hard on him for dropping some balls. Well to the Dolphins considering we average the 20 yard line anything beyond that is a success.
I'm done. This is just pitiful TBH.Leave him on ST and maybe we can get a Desmond Howard. Fooled ya'.Maybe he can get us a ring and a MVP in the Superbowl(only if he is put there for GOOD)
sad. to be honest, he wasn't the only player that FAILED in the second half. our whole team FAILED. I don't think that was a catch before the half...looked like he trapped the ball. why didn't the clock stop??? also, Sharpers TD wasn't a TD. still a fan.
I think it is.. Ginn is by far the worst reciever we have that gets significant playing time.. Hartline absolutely should take Ginn's spot.. Start Hartline and Cam and be done with the Ted Ginn expirement that has been going on for 3 freakin years already.. Ginn is a bust, the FO need to stop making excuses for it (as they MUST know he is a bust) and sit him.. then trade him for a 5th in the offseason.. Jesus, at this point its not a stretch to say give Turner a shot with the extra roster spot benching Ginn would provide
Right in the numbers too. Both times, Henne put the ball RIGHT WHERE ONLY GINN SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT. EPIC FAIL
