You know he's never going to quit whining and crying. And if they ever beat us while he's the coach, he'll say it proves they are better than us, even if it takes hime 3 or 4 years to do it.

And if they had TOTALLY outplayed us, they would have won. Their D controlled our O, our D held their O in check most of the game, and our ST kicked the snot out of theirs. Adds up to a Fins win to me. But Rexy, all he knows is defense, so their D playing tough should equal a win in his eyes. Glad he's their coach!

This. Perfect. Another case of a coordinator who can't graduate to head coach. Good for us.

I doubt Rex is still coaching the Jets in 4 years.

You know all his excuses are getting tiresome. Someone needs to tell him plays on the field win,not words in a press conference, but I somehow doubt he would grasp that concept. Oh well if they truly "outplayed" us,they would have won. He can keep making excuses all he wants,no matter how many times we beat them,he will still have some kind of excuse

Wrecks Cryin will be out of a job either after next year is over or during the following season... As the jets with their stupid moves of trading away picks every year for band-aids and paying for high priced average free agents comes back to bite them hard......

While the Dolphins with Parcells/Sparano/Ireland are building this Miami team properly through the draft (like the colts and steelers) and will be very good for a long time.

    Watch and see..

Eh, clearly he's a jackass. But I think most of us would be if we had been raised by Buddy Ryan. Unfortunately, his trash-talking brings out the worst in his players and it makes the whole team look like jackasses.

I just think it's a little too early to discount him as a head coach. I think the Jets will end up at .500 this year, more or less (I think a good year for them from here on out and they'll finish at 10-6). That's not horrible when you're starting a rookie QB who figures to improve.

Compare that to Cameron who stumbles out of the gate at 0-13, develops no talent, spends a top 10 pick on a return man, and gets shown the door after almost making the team the laughing-stock of the NFL. Now that's an epic fail as a head coach.

So, maybe Ryan is there in 10 years, and maybe he's gone by next season. Who knows? If anything, we should hope Ryan stays with the Jets for a while. I think we may have his number.

Rex Ryan is not a very good NFL Head Coach, he is a good Defensive Coordinator who is playing at being a Head Coach.

-Dolphins v Jets I...non use of timeouts to save time for a possible counter drive even if the Phins scored on their drive

-Dolphins v Jets II, three 2 point conversion attempts, "if" Ryan had chosen to kick extra points...twice...that last drive would have been for the tying field goal, kick the extra point 3 times, that last drive would have been for the game winning field goal.

Ryan's Captain Ahab attitude will cost the Jets more games as the season rolls along.

Rookie Head Coach, Rookie Qb, the worst of both worlds, Smith/Ryan in Atlanta and Harbaugh/Flacco in Baltimore were the incredibly rare exception not the rule in the NFL.

What....we beat the sh#@ out of the 2 best teams in football and lost..WHAT.

Rookie qb in his first start on the road combined with 3 rookies starting in the secondary and we still won....Ryan's a fat *** piece, and he just gave us more juice for the next time we play his overrated team.

p.s..bart scott continued his BS all day yesterday...those sarcastic comments about how were a great offense and that were superbowl contenders is unacceptable behavior by the player, on top of that, hes making tv rounds spewing his BS the day after his fake *** team got swept.....

That boy is a chump without Ray lewis......he was ray's little boy, know what iam saying...

Bart Scott was actually in back pedal mode all day yesterday. He was on ESPN First Take claiming he was upset at the loss and regretted his sarcasm.

He went on to say Tony Dungy's comments struck a cord and made him realize he was wrong for what he said.

He didn't do his talking on the field, so he's got to go somewhere else. I like that none of our players are getting caught up in the spewfest he's trying to start. Well, once the season started anyway, the preseason talk doesn't count once the pads are on....
