http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...11/miami-dolphins-our-savior-ted-ginn-jr.html "...if we’re with the Jets, we have a tendency to tell people we’re great when we’re only half great." Good article for the Ginn lovers. Sounds like they are trying to figure out how to use this kid to maximize his potential.
I love this quote cuz its true. Also the quote by an espn analysis (dont remember which one) "Dolphins are full of character and the Jets are full of characters" after there last comments after our last win
A lot of you guys are responsible for making Ted ginn feel like whale defication, how do you feel about yourselves..lol Its ok...we who saw what the kid means to us, {not just belief}, will let you back on the train. I like the idea of redefining his role on this team...If we can just get him off the line without being pressed then the kid is a strike waiting to happen.
I don't see how we can actually redefine his role completely until we acquire a WR that can do the things that we can't keep expecting from Ginn. Until we have that guy, I wouldn't expect too much of a spike in production. But I do like the new approach. We're finally accepting the fact that we don't have a true number one and focusing on how to get more out of them based on what each bring to the table. His duties as KR are back to being more of the focal point of what he does for us and I wouldn't be surprised if most of Ginn's snaps at WR, will be plays where we're looking for something over the top. Which right now is Ginn's only real threat in the passing game........those lazers over the shoulder of the defender that Ginn has to turn and go up for, those jump balls down the middle in coverage, getting physical in the red zone? That's just not his game. Teddy and the Fins both would be better served from here on out if they quit asking that from him and just settle for what he actually offers. And that is...........if nothing else, the kid is really, really fast
I assume this is directed to guys like me. Well, I make no apologies for how I feel or what I've said about Ginn, nor has my opinion changed. He is still an exceptional return man with less than average WR abilities. And that's fine as long as the coaching staff continue to use him where he will be an asset and not a liability.
"Wasn’t that marvelous. Wasn’t that marvelous?," Henning said. "You know, in the Bible, on Palm Sunday they threw flowers and garlands at the Good Lord and then on Friday, they picked him up, beat the s--- out of him, crucified him, and in this league they give us seven days – only gave him five. The problem is right here Henning was there in person with Jesus
I cant disagree with much of that except for that he has more uses then you suggest hes worth....I do agree with you that he needs to play next to a #1... Maybe they tried to force the kid into being something THEY wanted, idk, and maybe now they will see a more clearer vision as to how his talent can translate..... We all know pretty well that they didnt see him being the returner he can be if given consistent chances...they sacrificed impact plays for some futile consistency, for over a year... and they were wrong..
HEYYYYYY BUDDY, look what i had to resort to just to get you away from the debauchery of the college experience... I was just trying to have a little fun my brothers and sisters..and your right, hes got to prove something at receiver for me to be talkin sh$# right?.lol... Ted dangerous will be back...i know the kid can catch the football...hes adapting to henne, and let me tell ya something, thats a huge adaptation for anyone, know what iam sayin. His benching was warranted, but i thought i knew what kind of results that would produce, which turned out to be a hundred yards of offense...so he came back after persecution and showed mental toughness and some serious talent..he's unorthadox thats for sure, but he's our's, and he can become dangerous once again, if we play him a little differently.
He didn't really have an opportunity to catch any footballs in the game. Sparano said he broke lose twice but we failed to get the ball to him. The one time we did throw his way, Henne sailed the ball ten yards over his head.
If you were one that said you want him traded, or that hes a bust ,then yes, it was directed to those people...in jest of course. Ted ginn is 24 years old...he needs to keep getting bigger and stronger..His curve might be a little longer then your average.
Some of these players are just babies. They all look so much older when you see them in interviews etc. I think I'll look into adopting the team, they all need another mom.
i would say with the addition of clemons into the starting lineup we must be the youngest starting lineup in the game, or damn close to it...once solai takes fergies spot mos def.
I think he's on pace to be a bust based on where he was drafted. And while I still don't think he'll ever be close to being a #1 WR, if he can become a premier return man I'll be OK with that.
Maybe, we witnessed the coming of age & the making of the bones in one game. Kudos GinnJr. for pulling us out of the fire looking forward to the next game.
Well if anyone can work with whale ****, it's Jesus. I'm only speculating of course, but I recall hearing a story or tow about that guy.
If it wasn't for Ginn's career game thus far, we would be 2-4 and facing a 2-5 start. That win can do alot for us psychologically.
