I am a huge Sevendust fan, and there new CD comes out 4/1. It has guest appearances by Chris Daughtry, and Myles Kennedy from Alter bridge. You can preview the songs right here. http://www.amazon.com/Chapter-VII-H...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1206679380&sr=1-1 I can't wait to get this. These guys kick butt, and are a blast to see in concert.
One of the only two rock bands I know of with a black frontman. random fact. I have one of their cds but i forget the name.
Can't wait for this. I am not usually a fan of colaboration songs but I will hold judgement until I hear them.
I just found out that Sonny Mayo is out on guitars, and Clint Lowery is back. I wish Sonny the best I really liked him. If you want to listen to some of the new songs go to there my space page. They have some great tunes on there. You can also buy merchandise as well.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sevendust On March 26th, of 2008, Sevendust announced that Clint Lowery, former guitarist and vocalist for the band, has quit his duties as guitarist for Dark New Day and will be returning to the Sevendust lineup. Sevendust also parted ways with guitarist Sonny Mayo. Morgan Rose's statement on Lowery's return: "This was extremely tough considering Sonny is our brother and has been amazing to work with. He didn't do anything wrong at all, we just owe it to ourselves and all the folks that grew up with us to put our original band back together. Clint has always been our brother and Sonny will always remain our brother as well. We are sorry to say goodbye to Sonny and I'm sure this will be tough on the fans that follow him, but we're excited about reuniting the original lineup of Sevendust."
Chris Daughtry is on the song, The Past. Myles Kennedy, and Mark Tremonti are on the song "Sorrow" I believe. I just got it, and trying to give a good listening before I give it a grade. The CD has a little bit of strings, piano on it. Some songs are on the lighter side, the others rip like Sevendust is known for. Tomorrow I will probably be able to give a review.
