Does anyone know around what time the Game will end on Thursday?(what time did the 49ers game end?] I might not be home until 10 or maybe even after that sue to a class[ive debated not going.]

I don't mind just watching the 2nd half, but if it's like the 4th quarter, maybe ill just tivo it and try and pretend its live.

This is why football is meant for the weekend.[Except on Thanksgiving] Help!

If it were me I would almost always skip class for the fins its only one class you can make up the stuff you miss.

I'm in CST ... not sure what time zone your'e in. But you can bet the game will take right around 3 hours to complete ... so for me kickoff is at 7:30p which means the game will get over sometime around 10:30p.

I would skip class .... but that's just me. Probably also why it took me more than four years to get my college degree, but that's another story.

depends, How confident are you that you can make up the missed classwork/homework/notes? Don't jeopardize your class grade to watch 1 game. If you'll get a A/B in the class regardless if you skip then go for it. But if you're struggling with the class you better be there every minute.

Oh I'm positive i'll get an A/B. The problem is I have this meeting after, otherwise I'd skip. I'm not sure what time i'll get back.

I could pretend to have swine flu, but i'm superstitious that one or both will happen: 1-I'll really get sick after and/or 2.The Dolphins will lose because of me lying.

I guess I could tivo, and if I get home when the game is still on, try to catch up to the live game by FF through commercials/timeouts/halftime. Hmmm...

definitely DVR / TIVO it... I'll be doing the same thing as I will probably not get home from work until about 15 min's after kickoff. I do hate my DVR sometimes though, when I fast forward it will occasionally skip to the end of the recording, which if the game is still ongoing, that would be live. nnnnnnot good...

    School is overrated - skip!

But if you must Tivo, find a way to not know the score of the game and watch it - for you - live. I had to do that for the Jets game, and it was all I could do - up here - to not find out, but I did. Then, watched the game in an hour/45!

D1B, do the right thing. Go to school and do what you gotta do afterward. Then do as you said above. As long as no one tells you the score before you start watching it (or during), it'll be just like watching it live (less all the commercials). Which, is a bonus really.

    Good luck, and go Phins!

Just to confirm, will the Dolphins/Panthers game be shown online?

Despite the prominant viewing screen, I couldn't find anything clearly stating that on the website, as in "the game will air live online, on NFL .com."

I see it will air on the NFL Network, but I no longer get the televised station, having moved to Time Warner (Cheapskate Anti-nfl network Cable Co.).

Typically I try to avoid posting about things so mundane, but a tight schedule this week leaves me little time to scout the web to find out if I need to stop a bar tonight, but I go home and find its only on the NFL channel, it's gonna suck major !#^$~ @*#(!
