So I am a top a very tight league. 2 way tie at 7-3. I had Ronnie Brown. I picked up Lex Hilliard, being a fan gave me the inside track. Should I start Lex?? The alternative is risk playing: 1) cedrick benson who questionable and hasnt practiced all week. 2) lendale white 3) willis mccgahee (if i can snag him off waivers friday) 4) darren sproles( I already have LT slated to start) Thank you!!!
yeah, like that works for married people. lets try that on our wives tonight. meet you in the emergency room around 11. but be honest, by reading the title...you thought it was Aqua didn't you???
yes. depending on who the ravens play id go with mcgahee....not alot of yards...but hes gotten some TDs this yr...he has helped my team. if not....id go with hillard....buiser back....might get in on goaline formations and punch it in the endzone. and might complete a pass or 2
Benson - Probably your best option, should he actually play. White - Hasn't done jack this season. I'd stay away. McGahee - This is clearly Ray Rice's team for the foreseable future. Sproles - As time shares go, you could do worse with Sproles. Probably your best bet if Benson can't go, considering he is a threat returning and catching (not sure if you're in PPR). I'd rank 'em like this: - Benson - Sproles - Hilliard - McGahee - White
it doesn't help that i have to make the decision on Lex tonight. my issue with sproles is that I'd be starting he and LT, and both against a sometimes tough Bronco D. part of me thinks, the panthers dont have any tape on Lex, and thats been a hand we played into at all opportunities this season. so maybe he gets a large chunk of touches. but then again, once cobbs went down, lex never made an appearance. and we love having three RBs involved when everyone is healthy(not including Lou). so you can see why this is obviously a very complicated situation.
I'm in the same position as you. I picked up Lex last night, but i'm not starting him. I want to see what he does tonight to even justify keeping him.
Benson is ur best choice after that sproiles but if u can try to get Charles I picked him up last week but u might be to late
I wouldn't start Lex. As stated before. I'd wait to see if it's even worthwhile to keep him. What other FA's are there?
Maybe snag Bernard Scott if he's available so that you could start him if Benson is out. Just don't start Lex. Too good of a chance that he gets less than 5 carries. Post some FAs and we'll get a better idea.
top available FAs: Taylor, Fred Harrison, Jerome RB CLE Moore, Mewelde RB PIT Weaver, Leonard RB PHI Evans, Heath RB NO Morris, Maurice RB DET Kuhn, John RB GB McClain, LeRon RB BAL Sellers, Mike RB WAS Brown, Chris RB HOU Leonard, Brian RB CIN Dugan, Jeff RB MIN Cartwright, Rock RB WAS Jennings, Rashad RB JAC Simpson, Chad RB IND Tolbert, Mike RB Wright, Jason RB ARI Stephens-Howling, LaRod RB ARI James, Edgerrin RB SEA Norwood, Jerious RB ATL
If you are on top of the league, you have already clinched a playoff spot right??? If so, start Lex... It doesn't matter what happens for you until the league playoffs start
ouch. Not very many good choices. I'd probably go with Sproles or McGahee if Benson can't go. The only good choices in FA is Mewelde Moore who gets a lot of action in the passing game. Then you have Harrison who showed some promise. Unfortunately Mangini is a ****ing idiot and would rather play fat *** Lewis. Leonard Weaver could get a fair amount of carries with Westbrook getting 2 concussions in 3 weeks. If I were you, I'd just go with McGahee or Sproles for now. McGahee has lost touches with Rice's play, and SD just can't let go of the fact that LT isn't the same. I'd give a slight advantage to Sproles, since he gets work in the passing game. This is only if Benson can't go of course.
