Oh I don't know Rex...maybe if you and your team kept your big fat mouths shut before and after your lucky win over them the first time, they might be a little less inclined to stick your face into the steaming pile of **** that your season has become, no? Cryin Ryan...at it again. Link.
yeah given the patsies tendency to do this sort of thing, kind of hard to take the pats side on this one....
I love it when two ******s fight. Actually, its like watching to people you hate punch each other in the face over and over again. It warms your heart to simply sit back and watch...with a smile.
True...but knowing the Pats tendency to do this sort of thing, the Jets shouldn't have run their mouths when they had to face them again this season. Payback's a *****.
While I agree with Rex that it's a bush league move that is typical of the Pats, he is one of the few coaches that has earned such treatment by running his fat mouth. Still, he has a right to be pissed. But he would be better served in not crying about it and remembering it for the next time they meet like most NFL coaches do. But I think it's painfully obvious at this point that Rex Ryan is more insterested in being a personality than he a successful NFL head coach.
one thing about bellichick, he always plays us with a ton of respect. he doesnt pull the run up antics on us, when he's had the opportunity.
I don't know the Flutie punt for an extra point was like a slap to the face a couple years ago when the Pats were dominating that game.
dude, we won that game. it was the last game of the season, when we rattled off 7 straight with saban. we we're up by 2 scores, and then they scored and did that for an XP. i think that was more bellichick lettin an old pro have some fun, in a game that didnt mean anything. (they had clinched).
Totally disagree Bellichick has turned New England into a dirty team. Remember the so called year they went undefeated, Brady and company were bragging on tv but wanting to run up scores on every team they played, and they did too. I don't get most of the fans in New England they have no issue with winning by crook either, heck if you go to New England to play them you will be woken up by someone pulling the fire alarm in your hotel at 2am in the morning. One would assume this tatic is used to make sure your opponent isn't well rested and my question is, does Bellichick have an alibi for these events... Regardless New England can not be confused with a classy organization.
did you even read my post? or are you just saying this in general. im not talking about the Pats in general. im talking about just versus us. the year they went 16-0, they played us in miami, and pulled brady after a 21-0 lead with a ton of game left. this was the only time they pulled him with that modest of a lead. and then we scored twice real fast, with a ton of time left, and bb had to put him back in. they play us differently. imo. and im certain, you will never find a single quote about tom brady stating or bragging that he planned to run up scores. once BB stated that, if a team is still playing to win, then he still will coach to score.
this was my reaction as well. i find it somewhat hypocritical of him to be calling out the pats for showing a lack of respect, don't you?
Can we just have a "Rex Ryan is a Moron" sticky? Seems like there are 2 or 3 new Rex Ryan threads every week. Don't get me wrong, they are all valid, but it would be nice in a year or two to stroll down Rex-Ryan-is-a-Moron memory lane and have them all in one package.
Hey in Ryan's own words to us about injuries boo hoo. His arrogance wrote checks it couldn't cash. I guess it is ok for him to disrespect opponents but they can't do it back to him. If they were the so called superbowl team like he said they wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place.
Actually he does pull that crap with us. Whenever he gets a chance. Ran the score way up the first time we played them in 2007. Even put Brady back in the game to throw another TD after pulling him. And in 2008, they continued to run up the score the 2nd game when it got out of hand late. This after we were respectful in dominating them the first time around. While we ran the ball and kicked a field goal at the end, they ran the ball and instead of kicking on 4th, they opted for a TD. It's all in the past, and I'm not crying about it, just pointing out he does it just as much with us as anybody else.
If it was sanchez throwing late in the game i'm sure the pats would have scored a TD again. Then Rex would cry that they ran up the score
Not a bad idea, then we can wrap it up, put a bow on it and send it over to the mains at Gang Green once a year at christmas. Feliz' Navida suckers!
For the record, Dirty Filthy Sanchez is NOT very good. Regardless of what the NY-Media says and what they want you to believe, the kid has a Llloooooooong way to go. As for the opening thread: Yes the Cheatriots are a completely classless organization, no new news to anybody. Sexy Rexy calling them out is only goinf to make it worse. NE will only make it worse when they play again next year....and I will be loving each and every minute of it.
That game, they pulled Brady when it was 21-0. Then, when we scored twice fast, including a Cassel pick 6...BB put him back in. Very understandable. And they went on to beat us good. And the 08, we were scoring on them good, and i can understand them not getting complacent with a lead. That game was close for 3 quarters, unlike when we blew them out from start to finish.
God well once again I have egg all over my face. I need to just quit the internet...SICK needs to do a fail for that post.
I don't get this schitt really. I mean all the crap that Ryan and the Jests did before during and after the first game including comments that clearly stated "we don't want to just beat them we want to embarrass them" and now they are upset that NE wanted to retaliate is comedy at its purest if you as me lol =)
Exactly,it seems sort of hypocritical, you get what you give. I guess he never learned that respect is earned
I believe it was Rex's dad who was criticized while in Philadelphia for going for a touchdown against and NFC rival with the game in hand and time running out. Buddy's reply was something to the effect of we'll stop playing when the games over or they walk off the field.
Let us also not lose sight of the fact that the Pats are notorious for running up the score when ever possible. It's their M.O.. But still I for the life of me can't s see why Ryan of all people wouldn't understand that he and his team deserved what they got.
Sticky? Hell I think we could start another website about Cryin Ryan. You honestly expect him to admit that?
Off on a bit of a Jets-related tangent here, but did anyone else see this acronym over on jetsinsider -- this was new to me, and I loved it (especially coming from one of their own so-called fans): J-E-T-S = Just End The Season
