Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! I thought maybe today we can say what player or what person in the Dolphins organization are you really thankful for?? Only one rule in this game, only pick one player!! I'm going to start by saying I'm very thankful for Jake Long. This guy has been the start of the turn around in our offensive line and I dont feel he gets enough credit. His play has let other players move to their natural positions, like Vernon Carey, and make our offensive line one of the best in the NFL IMO.
Nice creativity with the thread. Ill go with Bill Parcells. This guy has the blueprint for winning everywhere he goes. This stop will be no different.
Happy Thansksgiving Day everyone... I am thankfull that Ricky came back to his senses and with him still in the team, we have a chance to win a few more games this year...
this year its vontae davis. he's going to be a bona fide repeat pro bowler. the only one i can say that for sure on the defense at this point. Last year it was Chad Henne who is coming into his own this year
Happy Turkey day to all the American's! I'm thankful for Lousanka. He's a complete full back and a big reason our running game is what it is, no matter who is running the ball. And of course his short yardage situations have been a tremendous reason why we keep drives alive. Thanks Lou!
I'm Thankful for Ted Ginn. He is a Jet Killer and ridiculously fast. I know he needs to improve but give the man credit for working hard each week.
im thankful for greg camarillo. the guy fought back from an acl tear and wasnt exactly getting the playing time he deserved in the start of the season but not once complained. He hasnt put up great numbers but he has been solid, especially on 3rd down.
All good picks, with only one, I am Thankful for Ricky Williams, he has proven he wants to play and still can at a VERY High level Happy Thanksgiving to all Dol-Fans
I'm going to go with Wayne. He brought in Tuna, who brought in Sparano and Ireland, who made drafts meaningful & who hired the coaches to develop the talent, who have made this a memorable season, regardless of the outcome.
Devon Bess and Chad Henne: Bess for turning his life around after making a huge mistake as a young man (and for that matter June Jones for giving him a chance to make something of himself). Henne for (at least for now) looking like a franchise QB. Something the Dolphins have been straving for since Marino left.
Gotta be Teddy Ginn jr. No player causes as much high blood pressure among phinsfanz and media types, without Ted Ginn there would be real drops to post about, nor big plays like 50 yd TD's or 100 yd kick returns to cheer over. Jackson already took him so I'll throw Lou Polite some love, he is fun to watch.
Happy Thanks Giving. Im happy we have Ricky as a backup. He can step up and fill big shoes on any given day,and proud to see the man turn his life in the right direction.
Happy Thanksgiving yall. Thankful for Jake Long and Chad Henne. Long, cause he was the #1 overall pick and has been awesome. Henne, cause he's the first young QB with potential we've had since Danny. Posted via Mobile Device
Nate Jones. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81456468/Nate-Jones-INT Panthers were driving towards our endzone and he picked off Delhomme.
Ricky Williams. For playing hard when his friend went down, and giving the talented O line the credit for his performances, being a team player. And for coming back to us to finish out his career.
Gotta be Henne this year (Parcells last for turning the whole org. around). The possibility of having a QB again who can make big plays after a decade of wandering in the wilderness almost causes a teardrop of happiness to fall in my gravy.
Happy Thanksgiving Dolfans! Fins Up! I'm thankful for Owen Daniels. The Dolphin who isn't a Dolphin yet.
Chad Pennington for everything he's done for Chad Henne. Here's hoping CP's around for a while in whatever capacity! ps; Happy thanksgiving to you all!
Me too. Thanks JT for coming back and taking a massive pay cut for the team and giving your all on every play out their.
I'm super thankful for Ricky Williams and Chad Henne because without them we'd be screwed this season.
Personally? I am VERY thankfull for a wonderful family to spend this special time with. And of course, I am very thankful to my virtual family for letting me post in here.....and for the friendship
Right now....with Ronnie done for the year...I am most thankful that we actually have Ricky. Never thought I would have said that 2 years ago. Especially how I had written him off my radar completely. He would run the ball...I would show no emotion. I wouldn't clap for him...wouldn't boo him. I just treated him like he didn't exist on the team. I know...team first. However, it took a lot to get past the past. A few games into last year and I started getting past it. I cheer him loudly now, especially with Ronnie out.
I am thankful for Chad Henne. The man is a beast out there. Tough, smart and has a missle launcher for an arm!!
