Anyone have some good tidbits about any of these match-ups which could swing my decision?

Palmer vs Lions vs McNabb @ Falcons

Right now I have DM and it would take a lot of convincing to change as this should be a high scoring game. Still it is the Lions...

Charles vs Broncos, Ricky vs Patriots, C Johnson @ Colts. All about total yards with TDs being the icing on the cake. Obviously Johnson has to be started. But the other two are more toss up for me. Ricky gets the rock but Charles can make big plays too. Charles has the slight advantage when you consider the opponents rushing stats TDs/YPG. Right now I have Charles but will likely switch to Ricky closer to game time.

WRs. This is what has killed me all season. While their totals are respectable, game to game production has been a loss maker week after week for me.

Avant @ Falcons, Burleson vs 49ers, Chambers vs Broncos, Colston @ Redskins, Jennings vs Ravens, Mason @ Packers, Gonzalez vs Eagles. PPR/yardage makes the cake with TDs as the frosting. Falcons and Packers give up lots of TDs. Eagles one of the worst at TE defense. I think Rodgers does particularly well on MNF if I recall which helps Jennings I guess.

Call me crazy but right now I have Avant, Mason, and Gonzalez. All three have been hot the past three weeks raking 14, 10, and 9 respectively in points averaged. I cannot have a repeat of guys like Burleson, Jennings, Colston giving me one decent and two well below average outings. Avant is the guy I'd be most likely to change and will evaluate again as more information becomes available about a possible start.

If you have a Flex (WR/RB) here's the lineup I'd run:

QB: Palmer vs the pathetic Lions defense
    RB1: Johnson
    RB2: Ricky
    WR1: Colston
    WR2: Jennings
    Flex: Charles

    Good luck!

How many do you need in each?

I like McNabb a lot more than Palmer.

I wish we had a flex, been trying to get the commissioner to change our system the past two seasons.

    1 or 2 RBs
    3 or 4 WRs

Off to a good start with the Jets defense giving me 17.

I really can't get on board with the Palmer decision after he only managed to put up 13 against Cleveland.

Can Detroit be any worse than Cleveland with all the injuries they had?

    I still say McNabb.

Its over. Thank goodness because this year sucked. Just entered my final lineup and I am done with FF for this year. Special thanks to all my WRs who consistently underperformed whenever inserted into the lineup. At least I will not finish in last place.

Sorry to hear that. You actually have a really good team, surprised you didn't make the playoffs. I agree your entire WR crew has been spotty all season long. Donald Driver has had better or at least more consistent stats than Jennings. That is mainly due to the fact that the Packers O-Line was in shambles for the first 8 games of the season. Rodgers didn't have any time to look downfield for Jennings when he had less than 2 seconds to get rid of the ball.

I have no luck at FF, never have, unless bad luck counts.

Saddest of all is that technically I'm still alive since everything but me winning my games happened. If 2 teams lost both their games and I win mine while outscoring one of the teams by 90 I'd be in. So Chris Johnson, bring me 65 on Sunday baby! Sigh...

Did you bench Ricky a lot before Ronnie went down? I used Ricky most weeks before Ronnie went down, and of course he's my #2 RB now, MJD #1 for sure.

I picked up RW a couple of weeks before the injury as a FA.

My team actually scored 205 points but the team I needed to outscore got 213, his average was 136. Crazy weekend but at least I went out with a bang.
