WTF? EDIT: http://www.wesh.com/sports/21894356/detail.html The photo sort of resembles his wife. Blonde hair and such.
Tiger, Tiger, Tiger.... Im sure you have a computer moniter that is about 60'' and broadcasted in 1080i, there are plenty of websites to get your rocks off on, and none of this woulda happened.
To me the person looks older than what his wife is....I thinks its his Mother In Law and STRESS related would be my guess.
I gotta say, I'm done with this whole Tiger Woods story. Nothing good could possibly come of this. No one will agree with me, but I really sick to my stomach by all this and all the media coverage surrounding it. Sports radio won't stop. ESPN won't stop.
My wife is an RN at the same hospital. She's off today...too bad. I agree with the coverage being too much. I hope Tiger comes out and dominates every match he plays in next year and doesn't do any interviews afterwards. Show the media whores who is in charge.
Keeps getting weirder indeed. But I agree about all the media. Tiger should drive to ESPN and go postal, just my opinion of course Seriously though the Tiger Watch is getting out of hand.
That is who it is. Talk about a bad month for Tiger. edit: Deadspin has it as Tiger's mother in-law Barbro Holmberg. http://deadspin.com/5421471/who-is-being-taken-away-in-an-ambulance-from-tigers-house-now-update
I'm generally against the media but when you make a BILLION dollars on endorsements.....you're pretty much fair game.
I don't know why anyone would complain about the media's coverage of Tiger. By all accounts it seems obvious that reporters were giving Tiger free reign to run around on his wife, it wasn't a deep, dark secret, the media in Florida had to have know about his exploits. He just went way too far and left way too obvious of a trail and the tabloids are now all over him. Sorry but he brought this on himself, can't feel a bit sorry for the guy. I haven't been keeping up with the whole story but a guy out there cheating on his gorgeous wife that has given him a couple of kids doesn't get any sympathy from me. Now his wife and family? I feel sorry for them, he really disgraced them.
I am with you on this His father would kick his a$$ if he was still alive....Tiger should feel lucky for that alone.
The rumor is that Tiger has been brokering deals for years. Swapping magazine covers and exclusive interviews in exchange of keeping some of this stuff under wraps. He certainly was projecting an image out there. I have a feeling that when thisall settles down and he finally gets back on the links, the media is going to be cut off...and then we'll see a bunch of negative stories about Tiger going forward. But is any of this really THAT surprising? Back when he first became a pro, there were reports of Tiger hitting on women, cracking dirty jokes and genuinely just being a "guy." I think hisbiggest mistake was simply getting married. Clearly he was seeing girls before and during his entire relationship with his wife. This would all go away if he just came out, admitted to everything that is true, told the media to **** off and gets back to golf. I have a feeling his golf game might end up being better than ever, as it is his only safe haven at this point.
It's not the subject of coverage, but the sheer volume of it. It is ridiculous, and vomit inducing to be honest. Everyone and their mother seems to have an opinion on the matter, that I, quite frankly, could care less about. This is even worse than all the College Basketball coverage ESPN constantly shovels our way every year at this time. Between Tiger coverage, the new SportsNation wreck and Dick Vitale, I don't care if I ever tune in to ESPN ever again. (Only Hanna Storm in those high-boots keeps me tuning it at the moment, but that's another topic for another time/thread) Not only that, but local sports-talk and syndicated sports-talk radio are flooding stupid Tiger-related opinions into my ear for about 70% of the time I tune in. Yes, the story is whacky. Yes, Tiger is a scum-bag. No one is disputing that. The fact that it is all anyone is discussing is where my problem lies with all this.
Yeah the volume of it is a little bit out there but thats the country we live in. Tiger is one of the most famous people on the planet earth and this story has everything, sex, lies, a famous person, etc, etc. Its the kind of thing that makes people run to the store to buy magazines and newspapers, etc. I haven't spent too much time listening to all of the details about it but I'm not shocked at the sheer volume of coverage, Tiger is a big deal and this story is the kind that interests people. ESPN, as we saw with things like the OJ and Kobe coverage will milk something relentlessly for months on end.
