That's just awesome. It's great to see film study truly paying off. Vontae is going to have one hell of a career I feel

I absolutely love his attitude, he isn't intimidated by anyone and doesn't seem to take any S**T from anyone either. I loved him going back and forth Steve Smith and loved him running his mouth to pretty boy Brady. Unlike some others, he is backing it up.

I think Brady underthrew it IMO and VD made a play on it.

He rushed it. If you notice, he just barely beat the playclock. He expected Moss would be in position to make the catch (as he so often is) and VD made a great play.

    He should've called timeout there.

I loved when Davis went over to Brady after the pick, stuck two fingers in his face as if to say "that's twice this year!".

Two red zone INTs in 3 years essentially? That's pretty damn remarkable in and of itself

I told my friends who are Patriots fans that you do not throw at Vontae in the endzone. I still remember how perfectly he played that two point conversion to Braylon that he picked off.

Brady under threw Moss.....if he puts it up higher to the deep corner of the end zone, it is likely 6 points, but Moss would have had a hard time staying inbounds. I think Brady waited too long to throw it and under threw it, but you have to give VD credit for the pick and also for telling Brady about his two picks. Love his swagger.

roger, he didn't outjump Moss, he had inside position and made the play ... a nice play mind you ... but a better throw and maybe some real effort from Moss might have negated the INT.

Perfect timing. He is learning this at a young age. He is going to be even more dangerous in the years to come if continues at this pace.

Nice job by Vontae being a pro before and during the game. Studying and getting in position to make plays. Awesome.

I agree with he that pointed out that Moss flat out quit on it when he saw the ball in the air and Vontae in position. I guess that is the intangible difference between Moss and Davis. One of them will not quit; both of Davis's games against NE are a testament to that.

I really don't think Brady underthrew the pass. I think he did exactly what he wanted, and didn't expect Vontae to play it like he did. As Vontae said, he's seen that type of play from Brady to Moss in the film and recognized that was what was coming.

Maybe it's part just fan enthusiasm, but I believe he had Brady's number. Brady COULD have delivered a different type of pass, but then it probably would have been a bit different of a play, and look.

I disagree on the pro point of view when he stuck the two fingers in Brady's face. Here is a rookie corner taunting a future hall of fame QB...sorry but I see it as childish and immature...get the pick and act like you've been there and done that

If anyone had done that to us during our losses the same people here who praise this childish move would be screaming to the high heavens.

Just don't like the show boating at all:no:

Vontae seems to be a pretty likeable guy on the team as well. Ronnie Brown and he were talkin on QAM about how much they are alike and hang out and stuff. Seems like hes a cool cat.

    Over There.

Never been a fan of "act like you done it before / been there before". Football is a game of emotions, and skill. many times you doing something at small as telling the other QB that's 2, will fire up another player to get his sack/int/tfl.

Samething as getting up and celebrating your big yard play, or big hit.. You got get hyped and get another!

love Vontae. Best player on our defense.

But lets not give him too much credit on the 'film study' side of things. Who DIDN'T know they were gonna try and lob one to Moss in the corner?

Most CBs know that play is coming, they just don't have the talent to stop it. Vontae does. Turning into a hell of a draft pick.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that both INTs were made by Vontae... yeap.. correct...

VD's first INT was a deep pass by Brady which VD caught at the MIA 7...

Hey, if you can walk the walk, you should be allowed to talk the talk. Davis is an emotional guy, and as long as he's making plays, he should be allowed show his emotion. As long as he's not going out of his way using stupid props every week changing names, and focusing attention on himself over the team effort *ahem*, he's cool with me.

We know Brady's a future Hall-of-Famer, it's just that, in his rookie year, Vontae has added 2 more INTs to that Hall-of-Fame résumé. Next time you pick off a hall of fame QB twice in your ROOKIE season and play it cool, then we'll talk, Ron...

Vontae has 3. 2 against Brady. His first was a pick 6 vs Buffalo in Miami.

Dis, I don't think they count it as a RZ interception unless the play started in the RZ.

The other one happened against Tampa Bay.

I know he has 3 picks...

I was stating that he did have 2 picks against Brady in the Red Zone...

One in his first encounter at the MIA 7 yard line, when Brady threw deep to Moss...

The other Brady Pick being the last games EZ INT...

Technically he has 4 picks, but that pick during that attempted 2 pointer doesn't count.
