Missed the entire game, only watched highlights on NFL.COM .
Was able to get periodic updates through someone elses phone. The final result is somewhat disapointing, especially by looking at the dominating stat sheet, other than the turnovers.

So can someone give me a summary of what I missed?

We pretty much kicked their butts, except we had about 25 turnovers. The score really doesn't tell the story.

Well I saw the game on nfl.com gamecenter and what I got from it is that we dominated in stats but everytime we had momentum or getting near red zone there was a costly play like the fumble from Bess or the ones from Ricky but luckily our defense stepped up causing a lot of three and outs.

Well you missed Miami coughing up the football on the worst of times that cost us points. We should have beat the Jags by at least 3 scores. Henne was looking really good until that horrible passed that resulted in a INT.

Good thing we played the Jags this week.

    Defense bailed us big time.

The highlights was pretty much it. They successfully contained MJD, no big plays. Our receiving corps was on the money.

G-reg Camarillo had over 100 yards receiving.
    MJD had <100 yards rushing.
    No throwing TDs for JAX
No offensive TDs for our offense in the second half, but the D shut the door.
Bess might have tweaked an ankle but it's not serious; he came back.
Cameron Wake is still a beast.

Think it was 2 turnovers on downs? Might be wrong. Long story short the defense earned their pay today and then some. If they could play like that all the time, we'd be scary.

we prety much dominated them but we kept making mistakes that allowed them to keep it close. Bess fumbled right before the half when Henne was his hottest. Ricky fumble three times (lost one). Carpenter missed a short FG that would have put us up by ten.

And of course G Wilson miss played a 3rd and long and got toasted by Holt which set up the Jags FG.

All in all the defense played its *** off. They only allowed one true drive. I thini at one point the Jags had 6 3 and outs in 8 possesions.

It was not impressive at all with all the turnovers. The defense saved butt today they really stood up and made a HUGE difference. Bess got ruffed up fairly early but returned. Polite did his normal plow for a few first downs. Hartline made a few nice catches.Ricky fumbled but stayed tough.Second half Offensively was all but dead.

    Bottom line we did win.

We won the game on 3rd down on both sides of the ball.

I was very pleased with the win.

During halftime i heard eric allen say this on the radio...."How... does this team continue, to find ways to win and fight they way they do, after everything they've lost"..

If you heard it, it was a beautiful compliment.

"This is why you lift all them damn weights"..

We know who said that quote..

100 percent attendance at the ole' barbecue, the offseason weight training program, the work ethic {noone outworks us}, the hellacious training camp, the bretheren, its all rearing its head, and in todays NFL, something that sounds intangible like the "code" is having impact on something that is tangible....Wins.

At the time Bess went out, i thought to myself exactly what Eric Allen said on the radio, how is Henne doing this?.........The code baby!! Our team is together, and they overcome defieciencies in talent, with a freakin "will" thats impressive in this day and age...

Why is the code so important imo....The Pittsburgh Steelers.

There were times in the first half, where i thought we looked like a young patriots team when they were winning in their early years thru their ability to execute their plays, better then their opponents....That has 'code' written all over it..repetition...repetition...repetition..execution is on auto pilot.

Lets get to our new star QB shall we..you know what?, i was wrong when i said Chad has a lack of feel for backside pressure....lol....The cat has no feel for pressure in the pocket whatsoever..its either he does'nt give a sh#@ about it, lol, or, he really has no clue of pressure, lol.

Its a catch 22,it will cause him to make great plays, and to make some mistakes....i can live with that, knowing Iceman is gonna hang in the pocket til the last second. His ability to make arm throws, makes his uncanny patience, dangerous. What a clinic the robot put on today. That pick was a great play by the defender..He played marvelously today, looks like the ceiling is very high..loved how he was gettin his guys up on the sideline at the beginning of the 2nd half.

His protection was beautiful today...all this going on without our star center..The code...Plug em in, execute, get results.

OK..Lou the "slobberknocker" needs a damn permanent nickname, can we all agree on somethin here?.

When's the last time we've seen a fullback dominate a first half like that, Mr. Polite wrote his ticket to the robowl today.

Mr. Polite..hmmm. i like that...I think ive heard that before.

I hope to see some Jet fans in the mains...

Rick was gettin pounded today, but still put up a C-note....The code baby!!..gets the most out a very talented, spritual veteran.

Lex hilliard did not look good in his touches...he pulled a fred flinstone on his first carry..TP?, what's goin on there, splain to me please?.

I spent a lot of my first half steaming as to why Cam wake was not on the field, especially up 14 0, going on defense...nope...

Release the beast Padre..thats what brian from ohio says on qam..

2 more sacks, 2 pressures, another game clincher.... all in 10 plays?...lol

Iam not sure about the stats guys, but after the one big play to Tory, i don't believe smith or vd gave up a completion...no way right?..

What great games by our young studs, the majority of the yards given up by our defense were garrard runs, which is also an indirect compliment to our corners..Looks like Sims-walker got himself a nasty case of VD.

We dominated the game, and had a tremendous amount of mistakes doing so..hats off to our D for overcoming all those mistakes, great conditioning...The code...

Man i missed ronnie today, and i missed the wildcat..Its not just a formation designed for a struggling offense, while that may of been the intent to begin with, Its legit, please resign ronnie. With that running formation, combined with Henne, next year is goona be fun and dangerous.

Speaking of wildcat?...good Job Henning..About the player, not the formation.. You got it,i will forgive you for your blunder in buffalo if we make the playoffs, if we win out and dont, i can't make you any promises..

Greg Cammirillo..can we put to rest that this guy is not part of our future..imo, he's as safe as anyone..young player i might add.A player that needs to stay a true dolphin....Love that dude, always have.

Vince young limps off the field..

Do ya'll think that ball was wet?..i know ricky was gettin popped all day, but that ball was squirtin out it seemed.

Wet ball sure did'nt bother that freakin laser launcher thats attached to our qb.

The two passes to Fasano and bess that were dropped {tough catches}, were nice throws, especially the one to fasano, he took somethin off that...what an arm man.

    Jake Long was dominating today...

If Jimmy claussen is considered the best qb in the class by the majority and goes early first round..it makes me feel good that our regime picked Jake and Chad....Chad would be the first qb taken in this years draft by far imo.

Brian Hartline played a nice football game, showed real nice quickness and hands....we are set at #2 3 and 4.

I believe todays game makes the debate of where we should go in the draft, offense or defense? still 50 50...1 big wide receiver 1 tight end, we good...2 linebackers..we good.

Randy starks baby...iam so glad he's 25 years old..he looked like our very own N. Suh on that double team tackle.

I like when Reggie Torbor is on the field..I'll take his wreckless style of play because of his ability to hit with some impact, and his speed.

Fred Davis would be a perfect tight end for us....

Ted Ginn...lol...all we can do is laugh right?, he looks terrible for most of the game and then makes a very very difficult catch on the sideline...Idk what to do with him this offseason.I guess you have to look to upgrade the position if a deal was on the table.

Tim Tebow would be interesting in cleveland.. Let him and cribbs operate a system..trade pretty boy.

Anyone see Jason Taylor Pregame?..dude was fired up..

10 and 6 preseason prediction still in play...why?..read the avatar...peace.

You forgot, Camarillo had a huge game too, over 100 yards receiving. That and, Henne's record of 17 consecutive pass completions.
