Dragon Age. Best bang for your buck in longevity etc. Lotsa replay value. Put over 100 hours into 3 players so far and no where near the end.
I haven't played them all but I voted for Uncharted 2. It has really blown me away so far. Next year's lineup should be the most memorable in some time.
I voted Uncharted 2 because I have yet to play a game that matches it in all areas. Killzone 2 got my second place vote...most underrated multiplayer ever IMO.
I've played them all (except demon souls) and beat most of them. I voted MW2 hands down. I beat that one on both consoles. And it being great across several platforms is just testament to it's greatness.
It looks like a fantastic multiplayer game if you can find games without Glitchers. Maybe I'll catch the next COD game in 6 months.
I picked InFamous. That game hooked me from start to finish. AC2 was a close 2nd for me. Some really great games on that list though.
MW2. I've put over 100 hours into the game. That's unheard of for me. The most time I've ever put into game in recent memory would be Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I still haven't even finished the single player campaign (not even close)...
I REALLY wanted to vote for Batman: AA, but Between multiplayer and campaign, MW2 just edges it out. Uncharted in 3rd for me.
Batman for me. Having to work within an already existing license is impossible for most developers, so for someone to get it right, and for the game to be truly great like Arkham Asylum was, that's just astonishing to me. I loved Uncharted 2, and Infamous was a lot of fun. But Batman blew me away because I already knew and loved the character before hand from movies and comics. To finally play a game as the worlds greatest detective, and it didn't suck, was awesome.
this is tough. 4 of the best games i've ever played were back to back, 4 in a row. Infamous-Batman-Uncharted 2-AC2 out of those 4, i actually put Uncharted 2 last...and I loved that game. But the other 3, I just could not wait to play, and every second they were popped in, I was loving life. Probably put Infamous 3rd. And the only reason I'll go with AC2 over Batman, because it took place in Italy.
MW2 for me but only as haven't played the others listed. Other's I'd give honorable mentions to would be Fifa10 and Fight Night 4 though don't get much time these days so get a few quick games when I can
Since nobody has voted Killzone 2, I'll do the honors. A great game it is. However I probably should have picked other. How quickly we forget Resident Evil 5! Really enjoyed that one. Left 4 Dead 2, Street Fighter IV, Red Faction: Guerilla, Prototype, and Demon's Souls are all worth a mention.
I had to vote for Super Mario Bros. as, sadly, it's the only game on the list I've played. I'm way behind. Got Batman, ACII, and CODMW 2 for Christmas so I'll be caught up soon enough. But I do love the new Mario game. Thank goodness there is a console still creating great old fashioned, side-scrolling platform games.
MW2 and Borderlands. MW2 lives up to the hype me and my friends have been having a blast on multiplayer for hours on end. Borderlands is underrated, everyone that plays it loves it. Voted for MW2
well i voted MW2 as well, being a new PS3 owner I've actually played roughly half of these games. Uncharted 2 was truly special, my 3 year old's favorite game lol... But I solved it within a week. MW2 I've put a ton of time into the online and special ops (or whatever it's called) and really if I'm going to vote a game of the year, it's the one I've spent the most time playing. I haven't played Batman AA yet, that would be next on my shopping list I suppose.
Batman for me but only because Fallout 3 isn't there. I know that it was a 2008 game but I didn't play it until 2009. I'm up to 80 hours or so in Fallout 3 just now, just completed the Mothership Zeta add-on which I stumbled across while Spoiler making my way to Oasis. I'm now unleashing an *** whooping on everything in the Capital Wasteland with my Alien Disintegrator and Fawkes as my backup. I'm hoping Assassins Creed 2 improves on the first one (even although I loved the first one). I've got that ready next (still in the shrink wrap) but I need to get my 1550 gamer points from Fallout 3 first. Could still be a while before Assassins Creed gets opened.
