Ted Ginn did step the F up! Like I said, when he does good...I will scream it from the highest and today he did that. Unfortunate that we didn't feed him the ball more since he was on fire. He got screwed out of a long td that was the difference in the game. Our pass D is horrific, but we did claw our way back into the game and that score would have put us in OT. Damn...

We need to get better at tackling on defense, and we need to get faster and better at putting pressure on opposing QB's.

Yeah....we have some serious week spots in the D. Torbor and AA are horrible. Crowder is what he is. Wilson is a joke...and that dropped INT proved that even more than the blown coverages. I am ok with our front 3, but would be very happy if we signed Wilfork. Wake needs to get better in pass coverage so he can get more playing time. Dude is a freak. I will tell you something that disturbed me greatly...Sean Smith twittering this morning that he was going to go get some BK. I am not sure he is as focused as he needs to be on this level. Not everyone can be a Chad Ochocinco out there and he is no Ochocinco. I think Davis could be a big time stud at corner, despite giving up some big plays this year.

I want Ginn on this team, over the last few weeks he has really caught fire in limited playing time. I really believe in his potential, and I'll continue to support him.

Sad fact is, Ginn got screwed out of a game-changing TD today. He did what he can do best - he was wide open when he caught the ball and seperated even further on the way to the end zone. If the ref didn't completely blow the call, and had we won in OT, we'd be signing Ginn's praises today. Sad!!!

But overall, not sure what to think of him. I think if we are to use him for what he is - a big deep threat - then keep him. If not, then it's time to part ways.

Not sure why we don't try deep to him more often. You would have thought after the first Jet game that it would be a staple. Instead ....

he's been good on the short passes also. Like ive said from the beginning he just needs to be consistent.

Right, he has had some success there too, but I think my greater point is, that's not his strong point, as he's not quick and doesn't break tackles. He needs to get moving along before he can kick it into that extra gear that he has. So - point being - the short passes are not his thing, and he should be used on crossing patterns, and patterns down the field, 30-yards plus, etc. At least, he should be used there more often.

Then, use him on some deep outs, as teams need to respect that speed once he gets going.

Frankly, we don't use him right. Like I said before, after he torched Revis that one time, why not try that EVERY game. Same thing today, he just outran everyone on the way to the endzone, making it look easy. Now, I know teams will do a lot to take that away at times, but sometimes, you just have to let him run as fast as he can down the field, because - likely - he'll eventually get past the safety and ........

It's not like Henne doesn't have the arm to get it there!

well you have a guy whose getting first downs for you on short routes. not sure why you would just want to keep him for long bombs when he can catch the ball in traffic, even if his yac isnt that great.

My reasoning is that Bess, Hartline and Cammy can get those for you ..... but they can't really do what Ginn can do and that's make big plays down the field.

Don't get me wrong, it's good that Ginn is improving. But I think he could clearly help more if they toss it down the field to him, or at least use him on crossing patterns, the way the Patsies use Moss!

He's unGodly fast! Why not use that God-given ability to it's max???

I have to admit, I used to be a hater. But the past couple of weeks he's shown a bit of toughness. If this carries on to next year, then he may actually be the threat he was billed to be.

Still, he's taken nearly 3 years to develop. You have to admit, we should expect more from a #9 overall pick.
