Funny, I was watching part of the Houston replay last night. It is absolutely sickening how much he, and actually the entire team cries and begs and *****es for flags. - Sorry to dirty this thread about his great achievement.........NOT
Never was in my mind. As soon as the season started I knew as long as he was playing at the end he would get that. Not trying to get off topic; but I thought this was an interesting bit. It's Ray Lewis' comments about Brady's alleged injuries... ... “I think sometimes, that’s the biggest set-up ever. Look at all the great ones, man. All the great ones, man, every time you say they’re hurt, they come out and have their best games. So, forget all that! Who’s hurt and who’s not. If you have your uniform on, we understand that you’re playing full throttle. You’re playing just like who you are.”... He's right you know. It happened with Michael Jordan and it happened with Kobe Bryant; except I believe they both supposedly had the flu during the NBA Finals. Then they both came out with huge games looking like these heroes. http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/s...radys-injuries-thats-the-biggest-set-up-ever/
If anyone that should have gotten it, it was Cadillac Williams. Dood coming off patellar tendon tears on each knee in successive years and he rushes for nearly 800 rushing yards and over 1000 all purpose yards and 7 tds. Running backs rely on being fast and explosive. Brady doesn't rely on that knee near as much as Williams. Shame Williams or heck even Benson I think deserves it more then him as well. But hey they love the big name, was almost a given if he had a decent year he was going to win this award.
Now you know, your name has to be brady to be considered for any awards. It's so blatantly out there, it makes me sick.
As much as it pains me to say it. Brady was the only one who deserved it. out the entire season last year and now his team is in the playoffs. Enough said.
