You mean the team we beat every time we faced them this year? Who couldn't handle us mano a mano, man to man? Whose coach we made cry and whine? Let them win whatever they want, wherever they want, even though they're not going to. We are what they could not handle. They're the ones who should be concerned about playing in the house of the men they could not beat.
Will be a big Colts fan Sunday. Manning needs to bring his A game because Indy run game is awful. Revis can have Wayne, but they have many other weapons. Hopefully their defense can stop the run and Indy jumps out to a lead. No way Sanchez leads a comeback. Still would rather have the Jets in this game instead of the Patriots.....
I heard the same thing but "does anyone really think the Jets will beat Phillip Rivers and the Colts" and "does anyone really think Jets will beat Carson Palmer and the Bengals" They beat them both... I am sad to say that there is a chance that the Jets will make the Super Bowl. I hope that the Colts whoop their ***, but I can't guarantee anything.
Eh, will be a fun game to watch, the Colts Defense is going to come in with a lot of attitude because they heard allll week about how great the Jest defense is, and how they can't stop the run and how...
Jets aren't beating the Colts. Manning eats blitzes for breakfast and the Jets live off of Blitzes. As for the bolded line.... NO WAY! I hate the Patsies but I'd rather them win 10 more super bowls than the Jets to just win 1. Just me. I LOATHE the Jets and their idiot fans.
The Colts had no problem with the Ravens who seem to play a pretty similar style of football. They definitely have the same one dimensional offense as the Jets.
I do. I may not believe they will beat the colts, but i think they potentially can beat the colts. I definitely do not want them to, But I can realistically see them beating the colts this weekend. At times the Jets D can be an awful lot to handle. Their D keeps them in games, and their offense does just barely enough to win. Theyve beaten the Chargers, and the Bengals now. Sure luck was on their side, or they may have paid off Nate Kaeding (lol), but the fact of the matter is, theyve gone on the road, and won two playoff games. We all know anything can happen on any given sunday. Right now, I think the Colts can beat them, but part of me thinks that the Jets can just as easily shut down the Colts offense as well. go colts!
Nobody thought that they could beat the CHargers, you never know. WIn or lose this has been a great season for us!!
rested or unrested: the jets can beat the colts, if Peyton has a bad day having said that would rather have them @ the SuperBowl than the patriots among the early Plains Indians, a mans great w/ calculated by the strength of his enemies, our stock goes up w/ their success remember we swept the jets & had lady luck smiled on us in 2009 we would be playing the colts not the jets for SuperBowl rights
Why not? The Phins played the Colts earlier this year. The result using the exact same formula the Jets will use was 27-23. The Colts can't stop the run and the Colts cannot run the ball. That's a bad formula at this time of the year.
Seeing the Jets have any sort of success already makes me bitter. Still, as much as this upsets me, there's not really anything to be done about it. Focusing on the Jets success is a waste of time. The only thing to be done is hope that our team got the message and won't blow draft picks on Pat Whites anymore.
The premise here, is that they beat the colts, and the Vikings/Saints. If they beat the Colts, it will be through luck. I do have to say that even IF they somehow make it to the superbowl. Them playing the Vikings or Saints is going to be just as tough as this game, if not worse. And I would LOVE to see Sanchez and Rex Ryan crying after a super bowl loss, AND drafting at #31. However, I'd be just as happy to see them bounce out from Indy, but eh.
That's probably what surprised me the most -- how well the Colts defense shut down the Ravens. The Jest have a better offensive line, so I'd expect them to do better, but they're still rather one-dimensional. That coupled with the other point that was made regarding Peyton's performance against blitzes and the reliance on blitzes by the Jest tells me that the Colts will win this one.
Where there is Norv Turner, there is hope. For me...I really don't care about the Jets. Their win against the Chargers was impressive, but they're most likely gonna get smacked this Sunday. I am at the point in my life where I don't even care what fans of other teams think and I don't even want to hear their smack much less try to return it.
Did anyone think they would beat the Chargers? Listen I hate those scumbags with all my heart, but I will tell you this almost 100% of the *****ing on these forums about them is pure jealousy. There I said it. Im jealous were not in that position plain and simple. Im over it We had the opportunity and we choked. We had the opportunity to get a wideout which killed us, but the front office decided not to. The jets needed one and got one. The Jets defense rose to they occasion and they are going to be a major force to contend with next year and years to come. Like I said I hate them and the thought of them in the Superbowl is plain causing me anxiety over it, however if they make it there they have earned it. The Colts will have a tough time against that defense. If Miami Players and coaches care so much man up and get this team what it needs. Playmakers and heart. Here is hoping 2010 is a MUCH better year for the Phins.
thats because u live in Florida....come live here, and listen to Pats and Jets fans all day long.....u'd change ur opinion trust me hahahahah
Couldn't have said it better, and yes I am jealous of them. I feel a lot of jealousy because our "rebuilding" is taking a long time by today's standards. Many teams can turn around their franchises in 2 years and we look like its at least a 4 year deal here. As a Dolfan I am starting to understand being a Cubs fan......
the colts will blow them out. they are more money than san diego. san diego self imploded. the way to the super bowl is not paved with self imploding teams. at some point you have to beat someone. the jets are incapable. for all the blitzing they do they have a hard time sacking the QB, which is virtually suicide against a QB like Peyton. He will pick them apart if they attempt to blitz heavily. They ahev an average run defense and can be run on, not to mention they are susceptible to passes to RBs. Their offense runs alot but its not explosive more of a grind it out run game. Their QB is a rookie and plays like one. This has all the makings of a blowout. and no, its not like the chargers, the chargers had more holes. the colts handled the ravens which were a better version of the jets. this should be a blowout
I'll ask this question did we beat the Colts? no we didnt because they always find a way to beat you we dominated them the whole game and somehow someway they find a way to get it done that building is going to be an absolute madhouse this sunday colts will get up on top early and force the jets to throw the ball and make sanchez beat them colts are going to stack the box and play to stop the run first manning will dink and dunk using every reciever on the field like he did against the Ravens Colts win big im thinking 24-7
Haa haa ,i said it a while back rex and sanchez are not bad at all , he needed a wr and went and got one no bs there and his defense it pretty good if you ask me.
I really don't care, the Jets do not belong even in the playoffs, where they would NOT be had Indy not rested their starters. Colts will beat the Jets Sunday, bank on it.
for all you dolphin fans who bought into the jets hype actually giving them a chance to win and supporting them in this thread
