Giant fans have 2 semi recent SB wins. I don’t want to hear Jack Squat from them.
Over a decade ago isnt recent. And better that they beat the pats both times.

Probably mostly because they've been just as bad at hiring head coaches as the Dolphins. Actually worse. Four straight guys who not only weren't cut out to be NFL HCs, but three of them not even coordinators. Harbaugh feels like a hail mary by their ownership to try and recapture what worked with Coughlin.
I disagree on harbaugh much like i disagreed on Coughlin. Hes a good coach. I do agree that the coaches have been a problem for NYG as have QBs for both franchises imo.

Giants fans are already revolting.
No they're regurgitating after watching their team the last few years...same as many dolphin fans the last 25 years

wonder if it's a personal indictment by them that they just don't draft well.
I think its a reflection on that but also A) how bad this class is at DT and B) the fact that they Trey Hendrickson, they needed immediate impact on the DL to maximize Burrows window.
Theyre in a strange spot. They should be better but their lines are just ass. They should be looking at pass rushers and DBs and OL with the rest of their picks.

It'll be interesting to see where they go. They could now potentially take both OSU defenders they were connected to at 5 in Styles and Downs. Personally, I think they go with one defender and one offensive player. I still think Harbaugh is going to want Styles, and you'd have to take him at 5. So do they go OL or WR at 10? Supposedly they really like Tyson.
I honestly can't believe they got that kind of a return for a nose tackle that turns 29 during the season, that the Bengals also now have to pay, and is coming off of somewhat of a down season for him. I'd be shocked if any other team was willing to offer anything close. The Bengals are gonna Bengal, though. They really don't deserve having Burrow and Chase fall in their lap like they did.
It’s ironic that the bengals of all teams, notoriously cheap, gave a 28m extension for Lawrence.

Giants take Tyson at 5 and Sadiq at 10.
Giant fans would revolt. Dart spent too much time on his back and getting hit last year. The only time that dude is going to want to be on his back is when his GF Marissa Ayers is on top and i cant blame him.

Or both Canes, which would be even worse for me as a Canes fan…
I dont think theyll take bain when they have Thibedoux, Burns and Carter. Unless they feel 1 of them can be a Justin Tuck type player and move inside

Certainly gives them more freedom to take Love at #5.
Imo they should go Styles at 5 and either OL or CB at 10

The giants also met with Jordan Tyson. Hopefully they go there.
Top 10 just got a shakeup...time to re do all those mocks

As far as i can see him. As far as Dolphins GMs go i just can't put blind faith in them anymore

Roloff, the Dolphin guy from Chat Sports, gave us a preview of the potential attitude of the fanbase toward a Faulk pick. What are the criticisms. He had 2 sacks. Did anyone actually analyze his responsibilities? It certainly would be a challenge/test for the coaching staff on development. Miami has no one like this guy on the roster in terms of flexibility.
People are looking too much at his recent performance without putting context behind it. Yes there were 2 sacks last year but his pass rush efficiency wasnt good at DT. It was good at DE/Edge. He had 9 sacks in 2024, or more sacks then the entirity of Cam Wake or Danielle Hunters college careers. Clay Matthews has 4.5 the year he declared. College pass rush productivity is not a predictor of what a player can be in the NFL. Its traits based and scheme based (finding the right fit for both team and player).

I lost one of my best friends to kidney failure on Thursday. The funeral may occur on Saturday of the draft. I will still manage the UDFA list but may be a little slower than usual. It will give me a distraction for a tuff day.
Sorry to hear the bad news bud. God bless

I guess I just don't like saying you don't trust him. Either you trust him or you don't. There's no gray area in that definition. I see other words now being used by @241 ... "optimistic" but "skeptical"... okay I can get that. Maybe i'm being too much of a "shouright" here and taking it literally  Plus you said "confident" as well... to me, that's another different way to describe how you feel about him making the picks and doing his job.
Optimistic but jaded any better lol?

Danielle Hunter's college sack numbers were not good at all, and he was drafted almost purely on physical upside, which panned out.
Which is why I chose those 2 for the comparison I drew.

Ugh. Any other players in this draft they could take a shot at and do the job? Spending a first on a guy whose pass rushers skills are questionable isn't ideal. Gotta be cheaper draft guys with the build who can set the edge?
I think hes somewhere between Rashaan Gary/Danielle Hunter.

If we're insistent on Oline and Mauigoa is gone, I hope its Ioane. Bring the pain in the run game and especially short yardage.
I also agree with your take on Hurst.
Id almost bet it wont be Ioane. GB hasnt taken a Guard above R5 since the clock turned 2000. So if Sully follows GB, we arent taking a guard only player.
