This Defense just doesn’t look prepared for this Buffalo offense.

The hit was brutal, no doubt, but both of the defenders let up as not to completely murder the guy. Neither wrapped him up or took him to the ground. Perfectly clean and hard hit. A thing of beauty.

The season looked so promising after week three, but now it seems as if the wheels have fallen off. Sturgis has missed extremely important two field goals in a row, the Oline is still giving up sacks at a record pace, and the defense can't seem to get off the field on third down. Mike Wallace hasn't made as big a change as everyone had hoped, and here we sit, 3-3, possibly third in the division, and a lot of division games coming up.

I think it's hilarious that the crew on NFLN act surprised by the picks, or try to "guess" who will be picked. We just heard Mayock saying he was frustrated trying to follow which screen was the "delay" screen. They know who it is, they're just not allowed to say.

I think the players did as best they could today. I think the coaching staff failed. Calling fades when you should be running, passing in OT rather than getting 2-3 yards at a time to get it closer for your kicker, allowing a kicker who's missed once to try again from longer without any help, and then ICING THE F* KICKER when your team blocks the kick!??! Icing doesn't work. Carp obviously couldn't make it from 47, so no reason to think he'd make it from 48. Jets aren't going to miss a 33 yarder at the end of the game, so let your D have a chance to block it. Don't call a F* time out and give them a chance to see how you're going to try for the block!
