I don’t play it but I get his frustration..
Playing Yakuza 0 on PC...very fun game with great story line only 19.99 and plays like a 60 dollar title.. Its an RPG but more than that kind of hard to explain but I am very happy with the purchase.
More new stuff...brings a little joy to my heart.
anyone have a no virus stream link ?
Jets then probably the jets...followed very closely by the..jets.
Small blip on radar looks like a patroit logo...the one with him grabbing his ankles.
Have to say as a fan of marvel canon I don’t see how you sell this to the masses..it’s stretching even my considerable insight..it’s a lot of information to try and convey in a 2/3 hour movie. If they can pull it off and make money kudos to them it would certainly push the limits of current CGI.
Pretty good/entertaining summation of E-3

I've honestly not even played a FPS since Doom and similar games in the mid 90s. My more recent FP experience has been dabbles into it with RPG style games, and I've hated every second, lol. But yes, I'll not totally write them off. Just now have a lack of enthusiasm, which I'll put towards other titles.
Did you play Dues Ex?
Good luck KB keep us posted.

I'll wait to read more articles, lol. No way I'm watching some dude talk to the camera for five minutes and trying to sort all of that out. I'll continue to monitor the game, but I'm just not nearly as excited for it as I would have been. It seems that CDPR wanted to go in a much different direction, and that's fine and their choice. So bet it. I'll continue to hope that someone else decides to do their best to make a Witcher 3 clone, because that's what I do want to play.
As long as you try to keep an open mind. Try to remember it’s not a shooter it’s and RPG from first person perspective...made by the best (imo) RPG developer of this generation.
#hashtag reveal for Cyberpunk 2077...:chuckle:

You totally disregard the fact that some people strongly prefer one or the other? I can't tell you how many people I've seen say that everyone should play the Bethesda games first person, but I have a great time playing them in third. Why limit your customer?
I dont think they disregarded anyone but it seems they had to make a choice because making a game this huge and interactive and beautiful and diverse takes a fuckton of resources and some thing probably had to get axed like with any game (or we probably wouldn't be able to play it until 2077) it sound like this game is about more exploration and interacting/story telling than shooting...just because they made a great combat system (probably) doesn't mean you have to be able to twitch play to enjoy the game. CDPR are well aware that their fan base didn't want a pretty fps. In another video a guy mentions a militec bot pet the little one that is in a lot of the videos that you can trick out to fight for you...with things like that and the smart guns im guessing you could absolutely suck a fps and still kick ass in this game.
gameplay and some pics clips below.

I just cannot manage to play games from the first person perspective. It feels so rigid and robotic, and I end up getting stuck looking at the ground while the enemies kill me unseen. I sucked at it as a teenager and twentysomething, and I'm certainly not likely to get any better in my 40s. I've messed around with it in Skyrim and Fallout after I was done being serious with the games, and even then as an overpowered character it was a disaster. Just too foreign and clumbsy.
I can also tell you that CDPR has squandered a huge amount of goodwill with the gaming public with this choice. Many, many people like myself have gone from having the game at the top of our list, to now having little to no interest. Its difficult to quantify right now, but they've likely cost themselves a large chunk of sales by not putting in the option to play in third person.
Had the game been something akin to Mass Effect style, like I expected, I'd be counting down the days till release, and maybe even preordering, which I haven't done in years. But now, no way. I'm going to hope that they eventually patch it in, and then if they do I'll buy it later on.
I’m with you partner but I’m telling/pleading with you don’t write it off yet...they keep stressing it’s NOT a shooter but a first person RPG you can go after situations with combat or cyberwarfare or charm dialogue etc etc..the CDPR guy mentions in this interview that he isn’t any good at shooters but enjoys the combat very much. I think they have the smart weapons for guys like us who are not good at FPS.
Maybe change a few minds...might be worth giving it a shot even if first person wouldn’t be your #1 choice (it’s not mine)...I can’t wait for this ducking game!

The official site of Cyberpunk 2077, including the trailer for the game and links to accounts to follow, if you desire. I'm excited.

Amazon lists the game as being released on December 28th of this year.
Looks amazing and pretty much exactly what I was hoping for..leave it to CDPR to take a dig at these other big publishers about micro transactions (taking a look at you now Bethesda) I’ll certainly do everything I can to support them (pre order etc).

I'm not familiar with this kind of deal in other video games. I've certainly not come across it myself. But the idea that there is story content for Red Dead 3 that is only available in the Special Editions, and not later via DLC, is off putting to me. Most of the time, whatever gear, equipment, or other bonus might come through those kinds of things can be bought with real money by the player if they choose to after buying the standard version of the game. Thats fine, take it or leave it. But actual game content is something else. Don't like it.
Personally I just would rather these game companies just raise the price of AAA games vs these other monetizing models...if God of War can make THAT game for 60 bucks and make a ton of profit I don’t respect what EA/Actvision and to a lesser extent rockstar are doing..but at least it doesn’t seem like micro transactions are in there.

Has nothing to do with that. Has to do with the very real and well documented practice of the core talent in EA-acquired studios leaving as soon as contractually possible. The people who replace them are inevitably awful, and the studios close within a few years.
Basically, EA's acquisition practice is to buy studios known for making really good games, have them change the way they make good games, and then lose money when the studio dies.
Sad but true all you have to do is look at the graveyard of once great studios purchased then destroyed (in short order) of EA publishing...they ask all these accomplished studios to shoehorn their micro transaction bullshit into games that can’t fit them then blame/shut down said studios..pathetic. EA (now under this management) is by far the biggest cancer in the industry with activision/blizzard a close second.

Anthem really intrigues me. Mass Effect Andromeda's combat was pretty awesome.
I’ll give it a shot I just hope it doesn’t get screwed up completely by EA like with the Star Wars fiasco...it will be my last “faith” purchase from bioware who I love (loved).
Fallout 76 mmorpg survival type..yawn. My guess would be micro transactions out the ass. I guess we shall see.
He played in the box this year according to mayock.
