The bright side? Ewers gets experience (to at least be a backup QB) and the draft pick gets higher.

I think I read that we're stuck with pick 10, win, lose or draw.

First real offense they had to face in quite some time and the turnovers didn’t help either…

Defense is faltering. Miami is going to have to win in a shoot-out.

That seems impossible? A quick glance at Tankathon and it looks... possible? At least only moving a spot or two, up or down.

It's bad on every level. Offense. Defense. Officiating. It's all terribly one sided and awful.

    70-30 McDaniel gets fired.
The 4 game winning streak is long forgotten.

I missed the game, how did Ewers look overall? The highlights show some crisp throws, but they're highlights. He had the one pick where Waddle was manhandled for 10 yards, but it was a designed play where you release before the receiver is open and just let him run to it (not Ewers fault).

What did I miss outside the highlights?

Played well first half and struggled a little in 2nd half but that can be expected as it was first start The rest of the team did him no favors as the Te
Fumbled and the next drive he hit the wr in the face mask for the int.
The defense was terrible.Burrow carved them up.

Yeah defense didn't show up at all. Decided they didn't need to cover anybody, make the rookie in his first start have to win a shootout.

I think Ewers is a capable backup in this league.
He's not afraid of pressure, he moves better than his scouting report suggests, and he's got some nice velocity on his throws. To me he's similar to Davis Mills of the Texans. He also reminds me a bit of Andy Dalton. Still don't think he's the answer, but I am looking forward to seeing him these next two games.
