I did not see any way possible we would win with Henne throwing for 114 and a TD. We were dominated in every stat, other than TO's, and we only scored 7 off 4 of them. Yet' we somehow managed to win by making plays when we had to. I am sure that there will be a day, coming soon, when Henne is needed to to win but, it was not this day. This Humble Pie tastes GREAT but, can someone please pass the ketchup? LOL
As I said in your other thread about Henne having to win us this game... No one player ever wins or looses a game. Its an entire team effort. Sure we may need him to lead this team to victories, no doubt, but its never all on one player. He did enough again to help us win, and he did more than enough to not loose the game again. That's all we're asking from him at this point.
I am MORE THAN HAPPY to admit being wrong on this one. The stats went pretty much as I thought they would. The score did not., which is GREAT! We won the game on the one yard line with two picks and the fumble for a TD. That does not happen often. Who cares? We won, and that is all that matters to me. We made plays when we absolutely, positively had to. What can be better?
Nah, the whole pie is mine. I went out on a bit of a limb, and the players sawed it off in a TOTAL TEAM EFFORT.
This was a good matchup for us, anyone could see that, it is surprising that despite Ronnie and Ricky fumbling at key moments, we still were always ahead in this game. Next week: The Jests, at home, 2-0 for the first time since 2003, and in Orange. Like that match up as well, the Jests are not laying a finger on Brady at the moment.
