    Quick Thoughts:

So Sheppard starts. I didn't really pay much attention to him. Anyone have any thoughts on him?

McCain the starter opposite Grimes. He had a really good season in 2014. Taylor now the spread CB. Not bad but I was hoping Taylor could live up to that potential out of BSU.

Matthews wasn't able to supplant Stills but he's probably going to get a lot of snaps anyway. That's probably more of a rotational spot.

Billy Turner is a bit of a disappointment at this point in that he couldn't just grab a spot starting, but that versatility is great for the bench. He's 2015 Nate Garner, hopefully better.

Lippett is probably going to be really good or a disappointment for the coaches. He's unlikely to suit up but they're not willing to let him hit waivers so they see real potential in his practice and preseason production. They've cut some promising players and been right in a lot of those instances.

James is the only returner so he was a lock for the roster. I still don't like seeing Landry's name anywhere near that list but nothing I can do about it.

Here's to Dallas Thomas becoming an adequate NFL starter. That's all we've ever needed from him.

Misi kicked back outside to LoLB, and Sheppard takes over at MLB, huh.
