Today begins the 75th remembrance of the US involvement in WW2. It begins of course with Pearl Harbor Day and later with the remembrances of the Philippines and so much more.

Take a moment and remember those who sacrificed so much, even some their lives, for the ideals of freedom and liberty.

    Thanks for posting this.

Why and how this is not a holiday is beyond me. God bless the USA.

My great grandfather jumped on D-Day. Always gives me chills to think of my big family, and how he may have been an inch, an hour, a second away from being killed like so many other young brave men that were with him, and how none of us would exist if he didn't make it.

RIP Grandpa Lloyd, and RIP to all the folks lost during that horrific time on this planet.
