Hello every dolfans ! 1/ too many moves in this past week (and please don't tell me our team is better now than before all moves made with guys picked up.........ie of clifton smith and perhaps carpenter)............that seems to be made in urgency..........and urgency is never good JMO ! 2/ It seems to me that our biggest problem (DB) isn't erased 3/ Parcells tell us 4 days before opening that he step down !!!!!!!!!!! ..............too many informations and moves in the wrong way at the least moment. I hope I'am wrong but I think we beggin to see the first and second desagreement in the trifecta perfect harmony.......and at the least moment. I really hope I'am wrong. GO DOLPHINS GO !
Remember... the vast majority of moves lately have been stirring up the bottom of the roster, which would be inactive on game days, anyway. The cuts involving Grove and David Martin, in my understanding, were about injuries. So, it needed to be done. The only move I've disagreed with in the past week would be putting Will Allen on IR. Which leads us to... It might never be 'erased', however, it will be better than last season, IMHO. I think Will Allen would have definitely provided a MUCH needed veteran presence in the defensive backfield, however, it's not exactly the end of the world. I like our young corners. Especially Davis. I would have liked to have seen the Phins solidify the FS position a little better, but, they addressed plenty of issues this offseason. The biggest concern for me is our pass-rush. If we don't have one, our young secondary is going to get a lot of blame they don't deserve. Parcells 'stepping aside' will have little effect upon the Dolphins. Parcells is still there, still on his golf cart, still available for advice... the only thing that has changed is Ireland now has final say. I'm not putting any worry into it.
We did this last year the week before the season also, a lot of player moves. And Parcell's has still been sitting next to Ireland at practices since the move.
By 2pm this sunday when we are up by 21, will everyone still be worried? I understand that in this digital age news about our beloved dolphins is a twit away, but i think we are all a little bit too anxious. We signed a pro-bowl kick returner that avereaged 29 yards per return last year! What is so wrong here? We upgraded there, and now allow Bess or Cobbs to concentrate in other areas. Lets just chill out, were going to whip some ace this year!
I 'am right with you on the smith move.........no risk to sign a pro bowler......but many many move just before the season opening seems an alarm for me (bad timing)......... and if all moves are made by injury why our doctor don't tell them that before...to have more time to sign other players than cutting players JMO
