Crazy start. McCoy fumbles on their first possession and then Bradford re-injured on the next possession.
Indeed. This one's going to be great. Would be great to have Oklahoma and Notre Dame win today, would certainly give the Canes a much better chance at making the NC game! On another note, anybody else have some freezing problems with the game? Might just be me.
They lose to Ga Tech, and Oklahoma beats Texas, I can guarantee we move in front of VA Tech. That would take Texas and Tech out the way. If ND beats USC, that moves them out of the way, then of course you have Boise, but until they actually get some meaningful games on their schedule, they'll never make a NC game. That leaves Cincinatti, Alabama and Florida, but after Bama beats Florida by 14+, you can count them out as well And yes McCoy does look awful, but Texas D is doing a great job keeping them in it.
Should be a good game but VT is a much better all around team IMO. Even if they lose they are still ahead of Miami in the ACC. Gotta win your conference before you think about National Championship game. Florida losing by 14+??? Wishful thinking.
Wow, why the **** would you pick that up? But that ball definitely came out before he crossed the goalline, Oklahoma is lucky.
True, and the ACC Championship is going to be a joke and VA Tech should easily win that. Man a Miami-Tech ACC Championship game would be great. But the Atlantic division is terrible. And Bama is a much better team imo.
I highly doubt you'd have that same result. It would certainly make for a much better game than Tech vs. Fla State. There's 4 teams in the Coastal better than any team in the Atlantic, that division really is bad.
Playcalling needs to get better on both sides of the ball. Oklahoma needs to run less, Texas needs to run more.
I want to say again, like I said in another thread, I would not take McCoy with a top 20 pick in the first round. Under pressure he just completely folds. I understand the OU defense is good, but this is not the first time the Texas offense has completely disappeared from a game this season. He threw two balls that linebackers dropped, both should have been returned for touchdowns easily. The game is completely different if those linebackers don't have stone hands.
