I am getting a new phone and want to know if i need to get internet if i get a blackberry for verizon. I know AT&T you dont need internet but i heard for verizon you do
i'm not entirely sure but i wanted to get one and my sister told me you have to have the internet with it. she could be wrong though
It's true. As of last Friday, a data plan of $29.99 or greater is now mandatory for all new PDA/Smartphone contracts with Verizon. Pay As You Go data plans also been discontinued on new contracts. Existing plans are still safe. I know that T-Mobile and Sprint don't require a data plan.
