FOX Sports on MSN - NFL Preview - Preview Though they're in the playoff hunt for the first time in five years, the Miami Dolphins don't have any easy road to reach the postseason. However, they may have been given one break - not having to visit the Buffalo Bills out in the December cold of upstate New York. The AFC East rivals travel to the indoor Rogers Centre in Toronto on Sunday for the first regular season NFL game in Canada.
This is what we are avoiding; High 25° F | 16° F Low -4° C | -9° C 40% chance of precip, 18 MPH NW wind 22 degrees at gametime.
There is zero doubt the Bills should feel slighted by this game. Seems like for the first time......in forever, the football scheduling gods might actually be in our favor.
Last year we played a home game in jolly old England.....this year the Bills get to play a home game in Toronto. Funny how last year things just didn't fall our way and this year they do,hope it continues.
The ironic thing is that 90% of Canadian football stadiums are outside, in similar to worse cold weather than Buffalo at this time of year. THe largest stadium is in Edmonton at about 70,000 seating capacity. But Toronto and BC (Vancouver) have domed stadiums. For the first regular season game in Canada, it def. worked in our favor, but we still have to excecute, I hope our players aren't thinking too much about it.
