I would take those guys over PW anyday. Let him be Pistol White for another team.

I'd hate to label Turner as a bust considering the limited playing time he received. I'd rather he stay off the field, learning the system and improving on what he needs, rather than on the field making mistakes.

As for White, I'm not sure. I think the way they utilized him was what made him appear to unproductive. He was essentially drafted to run the WC, adding a the threat of the deep pass to it, but, he never threw the ball. Henning's play calls were too predictable.

I'm willing to give a player more than a year before I say he's worthless.

Although that being said, I do not think they'll live up to their draft pick, but so long as they become serviceable that's really meaningless

You need to help me out because I do not remember any TDs that Pat White scored. Please do not tell me that you are counting a TD that another player made that Pat White happened to be on the field at the same time.

Conner Barwin was being used as a defensive end and he had 4 1/2 sacks which is a lot more big plays then Pat White had.

As far as Thigpen, are you talking about the same game where Pat White could not complete a pass? In fact, the game where he was not allowed to try a pass after his "one hop". The game that he came in as the 3rd QB with ZERO reps in practice and threw for two TDs.

(Those two TDs were two more then White had completions btway)

I still can't get over how foolish that statement was.

P.S. I just noticed that you live in West Virginia. That explains everything, Nevermind........

too early for this kind of criticism
    disappointing? yes
2010 will provide a better venue
    for their development & evaluation

I think the real question is how far back the Pat White pick put the level of discourse here...

That's why my short answer was two years.

It could be two years we had to groom any number of other "Needs" we had. Now we have to address them this year ot next if the FO does that again.

IMO, Ginn is very expendable. If we keep him as a #2, what do we do with our current #2s that outproduce him?
