Just my opinion; but I think the last sentence in each of the two quoted paragraphs tells the tale with those two.
"highest possible tender on their star tight end.".....and
"But what will Denver want in return?
I think if we go looking for a TE in FA it's going to be an UFA.
    Watson maybe?..

I'll take Fasano over any TE available, and probably Haynos over the same.

Fasano is gonna have a VG year.

Im going on record and saying I want Aron Hernandez. We can probably get him in the second or third and I think he`s going to be a very good tight end.

I like Watson BIG time, that cat can catch and run, he would benefit from a change of scenery and a QB that actually looks his way....not too mention he could rat out the Pats playbook to Miami......Daniels was much better than Fasano, but caught a bad injury, not sure how he turns out....

This idea is a little different, and who knows what it would cost get him but,
Mike Martz and TE don't go together. So, potentially, Greg Olsen could be on the market. He'd be a waste in Martz's offense.
    Just thinking out loud.

I think to be fair, you might look at what they're being graded on and then compare to expectations and responsibilities. A big part of the TE grades is how they fare in run blocking and pass blocking. And yeah I understand that's a normal expectation for the TE position.
However, some teams who run sets featuring 2 TEs frequently only require one of them to block with the other one flexed out as a receiver.
With the system PFF uses all TEs are graded equally. If you can't block your grade is going to be lower.
Look at Shiancoe at #36. 556 yd 10.1 avg and 11 TDs. But he sucks as a blocker. Doesn't matter to Minny, though. He was a pretty big part of their success in the passing game. Watson is actually ranked above him at #35.
Haynos (who I like a lot) is ranked way above the both of them because he's a better run blocker.
If we're thinking in terms of a pass catching TE we could use Ben Watson.

    w/@ a Chinese restaurant yesterday,
w/ a fellow dolfan discussing this very subject.
@ the end of the meal when I opened up the fortune cookie, it read:
"not to worry, the FrontOffice will provide."

    Friend MiamiRon:
can you send me a copy these pics?
    they are obviously exceptionally talented
& a sure thing to make a big difference in the locker room
like to see both of them give Grove a run for his money @ center.
either one could anchor the middle of the line just fine with their low center of gravity
& Henne would be one lucky guy,
especially during those cold December late season games
however, either one could be a Tight End  whatever...send me a copy
