great writeup con! I really enjoyed it in that I havent had a chance to see enough of V Tech. Only a couple of games. Made interesting points about his run game which is going to be make or break for him I think. He's acceptable now but he will have to improve that alot in the NFL. You broke down the positives of his run game nicely and I feel you are correct in that given a year of technique work he should be vastly improved. Nice tidbit about the weightroom stuff. Wasnt aware of that. His hustle is great. Dont know about the 1st round being there for him but I definitely would be happy getting him in the 2nd.

Also props on highlighting him. I think most draft sites are really underselling him and have him in the 3rd and later.

    wonderful write up...

Devastating right arm by the junior, its a weapon, no question about it, and a joy to watch..athletic and strong player, in the mold of what we need on our team, pursues with speed, and hits with impact..good, fast, fluid, football player.

It's cause Boomer is too old to use one of them computer thingy's to post his own.

He didn't feel comfortable doing it, so CK and I do it for him. It used to be that everything I posted was under CK's title.

So at the moment, Boomer, is me - I'm CK and CK is Boomer.

    Update:

    Measurables: 6'2 260.

He would certainly be a weakside defensive end.

    Stats:

10+ TFL, 4+ sacks, 30+ QB hurries. (Junior Year)
    Sophomore he had better stats.

Good write-up. Worilds definitely looks impressive. I have to wonder if he's really 6'2", but even still, the video was pretty impressive. Definitely wouldn't mind him in a Dolphins uniform. Think he'll grade out as a 2nd-3rd rounder when all's said and done?

Haven't had time yet to read the full writeup, but please change the thread title to add "Tech" to the end. Mixing up Virginia and Virginia Tech is like mixing up Miami and Florida State - dem's fightin' words!

I really like Worilds, although I may be a little biased. He did come up with some big plays, and at critical times during the last two seasons. My concern with Worilds is his shoulder. He injured it during the season, two seasons ago (not last season, but the season prior). He played with the injury through the remainder of that season and had offseason surgery prior to last year, from what I recall. I also noticed that he played last year with a sling. He still made plays as pointed out by Boomer, but I haven't really dug into how his shoulder is holding up or what the long term prognosis of it is. I'm sure team doctors will get a good look at it during the combine, so maybe we'll hear more then.
