http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription.aspx?EntryId=3248 LOL @ Washington being on the list. I guess we know he's after money.
Of course $oney is a key, otherwise, we probably wouldn't be on the list either BTW: How sick would it be with he and Pat Willis in the middle..... EDIT: Nevermind, iread it as San Fran not Sandy Eggo the first time.
no iam saying i dont give a **** about the 49ers....id rather have him and mcclain on the dolphins, cause thats actually possible
And Uggla takes it over the sign in centerfield!!!! C Crowder's saving grace is he works incredibly cheaply, amazingly cheaply for a starting ILB who is still in his prime. As for Dansby...come on folks "I love Miami...show me the money!!!!" We all should know the score by now.
Yep, I gotcha. Our defense certainly would look "different" with those 2 there...there is no doubt about that
Washington actually has a formidable D, and with Shanahan in the mix, they could be in the playoff mix as soon as next year. They were, what, a top-10 D last year?
Yeah but, we all know that Snyder will never overpay a player or get into a bidding war with Tuna, even in an uncapped year. LOL
For whatever it's worth, I don't give a **** about the Panthers, their GM, or logo. Yet, for some reason, it shows up on a Dolphin forum.
Gotcha, still don't understand it but, GOTCHA. I don't know about all this other stuff, just came here to talk about my Dolphins.
I see I still have some to learn about this forum. Posters here are concerned about thanks, reps, avitars, sigs, pics, and other parts of the forum. I just want to talk about my team. I don't care about all the other stuff.
If you are serious, you have a LOT more to learn about this forum and the posters/family here than you think you do. Ps: how do you like MY sig and avatar? JK, JK don't think either has changed in years.
You can't say for certain it is ALL about the $. I mean, is it the main factor? Probably. But a team's propensity to overpay players does not necessarily mean a happy working environment; which has been proven tenfold in the Snyder experiment. But bringing in Shanahan definitely has to be appealing to players, and IMO, a smart move by the Skins. This could also play a factor in Dansby's 'short list'. While I agree, money plays a key role in an NFL player's choice of team, it is not the "all's well, ends well" in choosing.
I don't know the Redskins are a big threat for the services of Dansby. They have three good starters already.
With Dansby we could fill a major need and not have to draft McClain who when you really read up on him, there are some serious questions ability wise....with explosiveness and speed...they say he can read/breakdown a play great, but the ability to get to the ball on the next level isnt as good as one might think...and at 12?? you have to get an absolute sure fire guy at 12, with no set backs alla Jake Long.....and I know he was a number 1 but you guys get the gist..
I agree. There's always the possibility that they just want the biggest FA to make a splash, but I think it's more likely that Dansby just threw them in there b/c they have the rep for giving big contracts. I don't think it's likely that they see LB as being among their greatest needs.
I am sure that I do have a LOT more to learn about this forum and the posters. I am also sure that you have a LOT more to learn about me. Who can not like Charlie and Lucy? Who cares about the Gaytors and Birds? There are threads and posts moved because they do not apply to the Phins. Why should your favorite College and Baseball team be ignored? I don't get it.
I agree 100%, although bro, when you are in a bind, and need some "creative influence" check out the Ladies' Lounge, AKA Pagans Lounge.....speaking of which.....lets see what good ole Unca has in store today for us...brb...
While i agree that Synder's pockets are deeper than most, however with a top 10 defense and the newly acquired offensive minded coach, do they stray away, and spend their money on some offensive parts hmmm??
I do appreciate your suggestion My wife is my "creative force." She constantly has "creative' things for me to do, which do not include posting. LOL
I wouldnt mind him,but here's the rub,not being able to ditch Porter leaves us a wee bit cap strapped(if there is one) and our front 3 couldnt get pressure on an open wound let alone a QB.We have no idea whatsoever what Ferguson we're getting back.JT has become the Brett Farvre of LB/DE's(will he retire or wont he),Wake is playing out of position. There's a reason,I want to drop back a bit and take Oderick in the first. If we dont,DL should be our a number one priority in FA
Dansby is at the top of my wish list for offseason acquisitions (along with Vincent Jackson), so yeah I hope we make a serious run at him. He's just what we need.
Why? We already have Randy Starks, Kendall Langford and Phillip Merling. 3 young studs on the DL. I could see us drafting a NT a some point but it certainly isn't a priority IMO.
