Sorry, but it should not even be close. However, in the NFL where X number of players must make the HOF each year & you are getting players such as John Randle/Andre Tippet voted in, then he might get in.

He is a Miami Dolphins Ring of Honor player, but a true HOFer he is not. Zach made a bunch of tackles, but never was the game changing player that IMO one should have to be in order to get into the HOF.

The NFL HOF is watered down when compared to MLB & is now the HOF of really good players.

Actually he played 8 years, made the Pro Bowl his first 5 years and wasn't hurt "most" of his career. A groin problem is what did him in...

You obviously know nothing of him and yes, I'd take him over Zach everyday of the week.

I would take offerdahl over Zach and I think a 3-4 defense with Offerdahl and Zach in the middle would be an amazing offense.

However I do think Zach is more HOF worthy due to the length of his career. I do not think a player needs to be a game changer to make it into the Hall of Fame. He should be one of the best of his position for a long time or the best of his position for a short time (Dwight Stephenson and Gayle Sayers).

The problem with Zach is that he was more of the 2nd best at his position during his time in the NFL.

This is arguable considering that Urlacher went to a SB and was a DPOY.

Offerdahl in the game meant having an above average defense vs a below average one. Ask the Bills teams of those times how much of a difference he made.
