Having gotten into the game late the Broncos wasted no time getting their feet wet! With in hours of assuming control they had made 4 trades, cut 5 players and add a 2nd round draft pick in the process. The first trade landed the Broncos a NT to anchor the 3-4 defense that they will be using. They sent RT Ryan Harris to the Titans in return for Sen'Derrick Marks. With a hole now at RT they quickly filled that spot by sending Vonnie Holliday to the Bears for OT Kevin Shaffer. Next up the Broncos sent WR Eddie Royal, and CB Andre Goodman packing for a 2nd and 5th round pick. Working deep into the night they then came to an agreement with KC to send Casey Weigmann and Wesley Woodyard along with the newly acquired 5th round pick in exchange for all world OG Alan Faneca.

I think someone was going to cut Faneca and got whatever they could for him. Weigman is now unemployed. :(

Wesley Woodyard was the key to this deal.
