The Dolphins will be better, hard not to be. The Bills on the other hand, will be the Bills. Below avg, guaranteed.

The link isn't working for me. Dolphins were awful, but if Trent and Ronnie stayed healthy we would have won 5 games.

The dolphins could not have been THAT bad....everytime nfl network is showing the best games of each week from last season, it seems the dolphins are apart of one of the games each week....they put up a fight, but just came out on the losing end ALOT more than the winning end.

1-15 bad. However, we shouldn't be focusing on how bad we were last year (at least without free beer given to compensate for having to relive the memories), we should be solidly focused on the future. We've got a lot to be happier about now.

I hate to say it, But I think that the Bills and Jets have def both improved in the offseason. Now whether their QB play blows their season is another story.

I agree about the Jets, but disagree about the Bills. The Bills went out and did their usual, get someone that makes the fans happy, but when you look at what the players did and the teams they were on. I think they'll be hard pressed to improve a Bills defense that was statiscally worse then Miami's overall.

Stroud hasn't even played much the last two years, he has injury issues (lower leg, not good for a DT) and was suspended for Steroids most of 07. Mitchell played on the best Defense in 07, a defense that was outstanding the last 2/3rds of the season. There is no way in hell the Bills defense even comes close the Jags or Giants. I don't think the Bills improved nearly as much as they could have...as usual.

I think Stroud and Mitchell are good players, but the Bills need far more help then Stroud and Mitchell will provide.

This team was an absolute train wreak last year. With all the turmoil and in-fighting going on, we still lost 6 games by only a field goal. If we were a smoother running machine, we surely wouldn't be talking about Chris or Jake Long right now. I'm usually the cautiously optimistic one, but I expect great improvement next season just on that thought alone.

We were not that bad....we lost a bunch of games by 3 points or less, and had a ton of injuries.

Link is not working. How bad were we? 1-15 pretty much sums it up IMHO.

Next season? 5-11 or at the best 6-10 IMO. Then the following season in 2009 we will go 9-7 or even 10-6 but still miss the playoffs. In 2010 we go to the AFC championship game, probably lose it. In 2011 we win it ALL! Insert evil laughter here!

Last season's team was more noteworthy for its incredible bad luck than it's pure awfulness. Not to say they werent the worst team in the league, but they arent in any conversation for worst team ever legitimately.

Tough to say. But I think with a healthy Trent and Ronnie we win the Giants game, Eagles game, Pittsburg game and either the Jets game or Bengals game. All just useless "what if" speculation. And it's a good thing we didn't because Cam and Randy would have kept their jobs, and we wouldn't have a number 1 pick and Bill Parcells right now!

Our defense suffered from a lot of injuries as well. We get Poz and Ko Simpson back and still have the draft yet. Marcus Stroud, Spencer Johnson, and Kawika Mitchell are all solid upgrades and if the defense only improves to middle of the pack, that's likely to be enough to help challenge for a playoff spot

And even if we are just as bad as we were last year, we still can't possibly have an equal amount of bad luck, so we will win at least 2 or 3 games based on funny bouces and dumb penalties (or lack thereof) alone. With new management and all, we ought to be good for 4 or 5 wins.

Here's a link from RealFootball365 on how we are fixing it:
