Incidentally, and this isn't in the article, but I fully believe that Mike Nolan would be the driving force behind Miami's (rumored) pending contract offer to Antrel Rolle. I focused mostly on the use of linebackers in Nolan's scheme, but one thing is clear via Nolan's history. He wants a crafty veteran free safety. I don't think Miami currently has the cog he wants there and I'm sure he wishes, even though it would have made his life harder last year, that Miami had kept Renaldo Hill.

Awesome write up, It seems like there's a lot of work, but there's the possibility for greatness. I'm curious what we could get tender for Ronnie. I'd hate to see him go, but if we could get a good deal and one or two picks in the top 3 rounds it'd be huge.
Good post. Very thorough and well written. I love how the 3-4 defense was broken down according to the linebackers. I never seen it that way before and it gives me a good idea on how the defense going to be ran. Defensively, I hope we draft players to fit this type of defense. It is definitely going to be fun to watch the defense this year.

Brilliant write-up as usual CK... Although now I'm a little depressed that the picks I thought were sure-things now look not so good (McClain/Kindle). Dez Bryant sounds great but the constant talk and rumors is a little scary! As good as Golden Tate appears he isn't what we need as a #1. We need a prototypical 6'3"-4", 225lb. guy with velcro hands and speed to burn... Dansby doesn't make sense playing outside to me when we need a true ILB to bump Crowder to #2 and Akin out. I don't know, I'm more confused about what the Dolphins should do now that I read this...?

at the Dez Bryant rumors. I hope he falls like Vontae did, remember his "attitude issues" lol. This time of year everyone is bad mouthing players they like behind the scenes and talkin up players they dont want, its part of the game.
