    1) had to get Dansby. After losing on Pace previously and with one of the worst LB corp, this had to get done. Seems expensive now but every year you get the highest paid "fill in position" and in 2-3 years will seem like a good deal.
    2) Like the Chad Penny move. Doubtful will keep 4 QBs. Henne not leaving and Chad may be moved if we get a great offer (will cost 1.5 million but this is a cap free year so no cap issue there). So do we dump Thigpen or White. Well I think we keep both if we are smart. Thigpen is clearly the superior QB and cost us a 5th round pick. White will hopefully be moved to a "slash" position. 4th WR maybe. He is not an NFL QB. His 2nd round pick cost will be too much for us to eat after one year. So he won't be moved and no one will trade for him to be a QB.
    3) Still need a safety but now looking for a good deal. rolle was too much money and glad we didn't break the bank on him too. One big deal is enough.
    4) Still like LB at pick 12 (McClain and Crowder in Middle, JT and Wade on one side and Dansby on other. 3rd Down move Dansby inside and JT and Wade on outside.
    5) hopefully Golden Tate in 2nd round or best NT (maybe the fatass Cody gets in shape).
    6) would have liked Boldin but seems we will hold onto picks like gold and maybe go for Bryant who isn't a true #1 Wr but more like a 1.5.

Well those are my thoughts for what it is worth

Don't want Golden Tate I would rather have D. Thomas who might be there where we pick in the second

the boldin to the ravens signing may help us also. one of the major WR Tate, Thomas, or Benn may now fall to us in rd 2 if the FO wanted to go that route.

    In short....

    1. Love Dansby I have been wanting him for 2yrs
    2. Need a FS- don't think Thomas or Berry are there at 1r. So top choice is Atogwe, then Sharper or Clarke.
    3. Cody in 2nd for sure. I know he is a whale, but so is Wilfork. Cody if drafted will go through a boot camp type off season program aimed at increasing his stamina and endurance.
    4. WR upgrade- No way Dez makes it past Den or Sea. So that leaves us signing either A. Bryant, TO, or Mason. Still would love Gilyard in the 3rd as a slot pr/kr.
    5. Our first pick depends on what else we get in FA. Right now I am leaning toward trading down to the 18-20 range picking up an extra second and taking Weathersoon overall.
    6. TE- Schaffer from Den would be nice, I haven't given up on Sperry. There is a lot of raw talent in that kid he has a great attitude and is coachable. Plus a guy like Pitta, or Graham would be nice.

These are in no particular order!

Where to start in the draft will be a tough call. Do we draft a good talent at the rarest of positions (NT)? Do take the rarest of talent at a common position (WR or S)? Or do we take the guy that gives our FO folks an erection (OLB)? I'll be happy with any/all of the above. Kind of leaning toward Dez Bryant, but those holes at S and NT are glaring.

As far as keeping Pat White, who do you cut to keep him? I agree that we should keep the other 3 QBs. We already have to cut a RB with Cobbs coming back and Kory Sheets on the active roster. And as far as WRs go, assuming we pick one up either in FA or through the draft, we will already be cutting one of those as well. We can only cut Patrick Turner so many times. :)

I agree on Tate, Michael Irvin brought up great points when breaking down his forty. Said of all the receivers his time would suffer the most when translated to playing speed. Because Golden was running head down for time and you don't run routes that way. I know a lot of guys got hyped on here after he posted a 4.3 but just some food for thought.

i here alot of people saying that boldin to the ravens helps us but idk,the last few playoff trips have gone through baltimore for us.i think i would almost rather face boldin twice a yr againts n.e in games that may or may not be trivial than have to face him in a put up or shut up game.
as far as building through the draft goes well thats true to a point..you only get at the most 10 players to help fill a 52-player team.these "one big signings"that we are doing every now n then are not working for us.all the while our division foes are making several key fa signings while still having a productive draft.
it just seems like we rarely do anything to keep up talent wise.sure we swept the jets last yr with debatable lesser talent but had it not been for a once in a lifetime miracle by ginn we only win 3 games in our division and that isnt cutting the mustard.am i saying go out and spend mad money and sign 14 probowlers?no but i think we could do much better in fa.this div.is too flooky in that you can go 11-5 one yr and not make the playoff and go 8-8 the next and make it.
