I've been debating what island to settle on next Wine or Crystal. I'm on Marble now.

My population rate and satisfaction rate has been slipping so it looks like I better get some wine.

Ya these kind of games are meant to take a while there are guys on my island with level 17-18 cities..im sure it took them weeks..I just hope they dont decide to bump me off .

haha not yet Warp...Let me get around 15 steam giants then go right ahead ..my goal is to get everything up to snuff then just start churning out military so when you do piss off someone big we can be ready .

 

You apparently haven't seen the upgrade charts for each building.

For example, here's the Academy.

every academy upgrade lowers the research time

 

True but by how much? I would think it would still take a couple months at the very least.

I'm getting ready to build a tavern, for those of you that already have one, how many grapes do you go through a day?

 

and so does every academy you build...I have 2 academys right now going to upgrade the one that cost only wood pretty soon right now I have 43 scientist .

 

So you can build multiple Academies? I assume in different towns? Can you research the same thing and cut the time? Can you research two different things at the same time?


Ugh, this game is like crack.

 

You can only research one thing at a time but the time it takes you to finish it is lowered.

 

Anyone have marble or crystal for sulphur? Im about maxed out on sulphur , lol

 

Finished foreign cultures but not enough marble to build an embassy lol. Started my govenors mansion though
