I am sorry but we need to stay away from guys that have health issues like this as far as making them STARTERS and paying them big cash.

If we had a great starter and this kid would come in as a backup then fine, I'd be all for it. But as a starter, I say this is not good.

I am sure plenty of you will flame this but whatever...

We've made way to many mistakes in the past with guys that get injured/have histories and its held us back and bitten us in the arse.

I dont like this move and unfortunately we let our real target get signed away to the Giants because of too much cash or whatever and now it seems that we want to buy something just to buy it.

Like a dude that doesnt want to leave an auction without winning at least one item.

Sure the guy has played a lot of games but it always seems the moment they get off the plane to play for the MIAMI Dolphins those health issues suddenly become 10 fold and we start to wonder why the organization pulled the trigger in the first place.

he's 30 he will not get a 5 year deal
3or 4...and his role will be to man the FS position for two years while we can either develop clemons or draft a FS and develop him to move him there in 2 years...he is a solid player that gives us a BIG upgrade to Wilson in pass coverage, which is what a FS NEEDS!!! look at the chart Padre put up
3.2 compared to .7....although I do really question that chart becuase Kerry Rhodes was #2...wasnt he demoted for Eric Smith who sucked for the Jets! and then traded only for a 4th and 7th? so idk how good these charts really get their potential or statistics out

overall good pick up, not great but good

I'd rather have Sharper on a reasonable two year contract & develop our newbies to step up
everything w/ Clark depends on the deal that can be struck (in my opinion) he is an upgrade
