FINALLY. It's here. Only took Valve 3 years to make a sequel to a 5 hour game, but damnit, they did it. From Kotaku: In addition, there are some plot details that have been leaked through script samples. I'm not going to spoil them here, but if you're interested, click. And lastly, everything we know about the Portal 2 ARG/leaks. It looks like Portal 2 ties in much closer with the Half-Life series now.
Agreed. Ep3 needs to come soon, lest it become the next Duke Nukem Forever (aka Did Not Finish.) Anyway, back on the topic of Portal 2, scans and a complete transcription of the GameInformer article unveiling the game are available right here. Interesting facts to note: Portal 2 occurs hundreds of years after Portal 1 You still play as Chell GLaDOS is back, somehow Physics play a much bigger role in puzzle solving There are two paint-like surface substances that can transfer properties; for example, the blue substance can act as a trampoline
Don't get me wrong I am really excited for portal 2, portal was probably most fun I have had on a valve game, taking it into real world and co-op will be awesome in my opinion. I wonder if this will still be a 20$ title or if they are going to go full price this time for it.
I'd have no problem paying $40-$50 for Portal 2. If you spread the cost of the Orange Box (I got it for $22.49) , I paid less than $5 for Portal. So $45-$55 for Portal 1 and 2 is a very good deal, IMO. No doubt that Valve will have an excellent deal on it if you pre-order it on Steam.
