The Bucs apparently aren't done. With the start of free agency looming around the corner, Tampa Bay has acquired former first rounder Glenn Dorsey from the Kansas City Chiefs. Dorsey spent last season as a defensive end in Kansas City's 3-4 alignment, but is expected to move back inside as a defensive tackle for the Bucs.

Tampa Bay struggled against the run last year, finishing dead last. Dorsey instantly offers an upgrade over incumbent starters Chris Hovan and, ironically, Ryan Simms. When drafted Dorsey essentially replaced Simms for Kansas City. Now it appears he may be doing the same thing in Tampa Bay. Regardless Dorsey is expected to be an upgrade in what was clearly an area of need. In fact, some feel that Dorsey has been miscast as a 3-4 DE and is more comfortable as a DT in the 4-3. It will be interesting to see Dorsey playing in the Tampa 2, which many believe is his natural home.

Kansas City received veterans Kellen Winslow and Cadillac Williams in the trade. While Williams had been rumored to be part of several other deals, trading Winslow was a bit of a surprise. Winslow was the team's leading receiver and MVP last season. Next season he will be featured alongside Donald Driver, Reggie Wayne, and Nate Washington in Kansas City. It's unclear what role Williams will play for the Chiefs, who have Jamaal Charles and Willis McGahee on the active roster already. Tampa Bay will need to find a tight end to replace Winslow's production in the lineup.

Rounding out the deal were a number of 2010 draft picks, rumored to be a 4th and 7th rounder from Kansas City as well as a 6th rounder from Tampa Bay.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Considering that the Lions are drafting ahead of the Bucs in this year's draft ...

Wow. I don't believe I did this but I got distracted and thought I was on the saints board. I thought this was real until i got to the part about Donald driver and Reggie Wayne being chiefs.

Whats funny is in Tampas defense Dorsey would be a force to be reckoned with.... He would play the Warren Sapp Under Tackle role....
