Yeah, there's always a gem or two hidden in free agency, lol. I picked up a fullback with like 90 run blocking and run block strength. Obscene for inside runs. No speed for him to get outside on tosses, which is why he rated low.

Yeah we're pretty terrible. I still think you're better at the game. You were able to make several long drives. I think I had one. The story of the game was turnovers. The only reason I was in it was the 5 INTs and that late fumble loss. You are WAY better at offense and passing the ball than me.

    Browns “D” creates 4-more Turnovers

The Cleveland Browns (5-0) young aggressive defense continued its mastery of the take-away grabbing their 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th on the season. Putting a simplistic game-plan to work on offense while letting the young aggressive defense dictate the tempo to the New York Jets produced the results necessary, beating them handedly 35-7.

Picking off Jets QB Mark Sanchez 3 times, and creating a fumble return for TD when he did complete a pass, the Cleveland Dog Pound faithful watched in awe, at the speed and pressure the defense displayed from sideline to sideline. While not a single sack was registered, several behind the LoS QB slides seemed to go in the books as just lost rushing yardage. The pressure was relentless, and following the game, Sanchez was too bruised and sore to stay long at the podium. Rumor's surfaced that he may have suffered a minor concussion, based on the words that left his mouth while at the podium a checkup may be the best course of action for the 2nd year QB out of USC. In a now famous viral you-tube video Sanchez expressed his rambled thoughts, saying “I haven't been surrounded by that many men, and gone down that many times, since the USC Men's water polo Keg and Lube party at the Alpha Delta Phi house my Junior year.”
“Dirty” Sanchez’s comments aside, Larry Johnson (10 carries 108yds, TD) and Josh Cribbs (3 receptions 70yds, TD) also contributed to the victory. And 2nd round picks D. Virges and J. Williams continue to find the ball. Williams once again, was at the right place at the right time on a perfect hit and strip by his defensive backfield tandem E. Wright scooping up and scoring the units 5th TD on this young season (it was Williams 2nd TD return on the season).

Jack English (14 of 23, 132yds 1TD, 1INT) just played a simple game, using the early scores and lead as a cushion to just continue to get used to the speed of the game and be very happy to have a solid rushing attack, and young defense to aide in his development. Asking a young, rookie, QB to manage a game is quite the cliché, however, on days like this one, managing it is all that’s necessary. English, still showed off his arm and pocket presence on several opportunities giving future opponents plenty of film to study and try to solve him.

Two other bright spots on the day came from the depths of this rebuilt roster. D. Tanelus, 100yd kickoff return to open the 3rd QTR, while many fans were still barely returning to their seats was pure speed (special teams ace Jason Allen had a huge block to protect Tanelus’ blind side once he broke past the wedge); and D. Moore giving L. Johnson a breather, showed a rare combination of power, speed, and illusiveness on a quick toss leaving several Jets defenders starring at their HC and D-wizard Rex Ryan as if to ask, “how, come we didn’t see any film on him, coach?”.

This 2010 gridiron campaign has clearly started off on the best possible footing. The last time your Cleveland Browns started off a season 5-0 was 1963 and Jim Brown was leading the rushing attack, as MVP of the league.

Hey I heard Coach ChrisKo has instructed his players to go for Matt Ryan's knees Apparently, if a Rams player can send Ryan off in a cart, Tuesday practice will be cancelled as a reward.

Btw, anyone else notice that Sick passed for almost 600 yards last game?

What happened? Just has Quinn on the box scores. I beat the Raiders woo, my stretch of CPU games is over and I'll start to see if my team is a contender or pretender over next few weeks: Texans, Bye, Chargers, Broncos.

Mor won, luckily BpK didn't win too; not ready for world to end quite yet. Kidding <3 Barry.

Welcome to the site Romeo. :knucks:

Bpk tahi had only one rush against the colts( 30+ yards) and vinkune had a forced fumbled then champ bailey returned it for td but colts challenged it and it was over turned.. Gay.. Anyway your guys are productive

I always liked how active Veikune was in this game. He tends to produce more plays than he should for his rating.

Tahi is a good, well rounded fullback who is solid and can block, catch and run.

Glad they're doing their part. Congrats on the win, bro.

i think the games are too long sometimes. Alex and I played for about an hour. That's waaaay too long imo. Lives, wives, girlfriends, and kids make an hour tough to give up regularly.

Note: of the excuses I gave, I have none ;)

Divided on the extended qrtrs thing. I like the idea of getting to have more time to run the bal, or come back if behind.

I don;t like the idea of being behind by four touchdowns and seeing there is 9:15 left in the third quarter.

You only need the extra time if you play SoldierOfLight. Everyone else I have played isn't nearly as patient as that man. I generally get 3 drives a quarter except against Soldier where I was lucky to get one.
