After reading Boomer's thread/post on Dez in Club yesterday, I want this kid! I didn't before, but wow, I was SOLD! I care a lot more about what he can do on the field than how he conducts an interview.
He said in the interview that he was just timed at 4.47. He's always been a 4.45 - 4.5 guy. He's never been a 4.3 guy.
I agree with whoever said too much stock is put on the way players speak. They are football players, not motivational speakers. As long as they don't have attitude problems or enormous ego's who cares how they sound? Let their play do the talking. And by the looks of it, Dez Bryant is the Tony Robbins of speakers on the field.
so let me get this straight, adam got to grow up in something as cool as a monty python sketch, and you had to grow up in something resembling a kid rock video? No wonder you have problems with god........
More or less. But my parents were divorced, so on Wednesdays and every other weekend I stayed at an episode of Mama's Family.
yes, they do. having an accent that is difficult to understand doesnt make someone dumb. god forbid we judge someone by their actions, and not by their appearance or the way they speak. “Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.”
I thought we were drafting a human being. We make the kids go through college, there should be a minimum level of education (including communication/language) that is to be maintained. IMO. Do we want the NFL to turn into Idiocracy? Not saying we don't give those who can't articulate a chance, but we have to maintain some sort of standard sheesh.
Well to be fair Rex Ryan's interview, which i can't find on youtube sorry, sounded like this... NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM And he still got hired for the job
did it ever occur to you that maybe he doesnt want to sound like you? or is that right being taken from him? lets judge him because of how he speaks. thats the decent thing to do. who is the idiot in this scenario? the one who talks how he wants to, or the one who judges him for it?
