Trade down with down with the Texans and we pick up there second round pick and there fifth round draft pick.

Round 1: Sean Weatherspoon: This will sure up our ILB having him and Dansby on the inside would be awesome. i know a lot of you guys wont like this pick but i think he is going to be a stud LB and i would love to have him starting next to Dansby

Round 2a: Demaryius Thomas/ or Arrelious Benn: which ever WR is there we take him if they are both there i would be Benn over Thomas.

Round 2b: Jason Worilds: he would be a good pick up and his stock is going up fast so this would be a good spot i know a lot of people have him in the third but if we want him we would have to do it here.

Round 3: Reshad Jones: he would be a good pick up in the secondary. i would love to see him and YB back at the saftey spot.

Round 4: Ed Dickson: we need a receiving TE and i think he would be a great pick up if he is still here at this round if not then i would go Jimmy Graham.

Round 5: Jeff Owens: i know it is unlikly that he will be there but if he is we grab him and develop him. IDK why but looking at his build in that picture kind of reminds me of Jason Ferguson.

Round 6a: Legarrette Blount: he is a good RB and if he didnt make that mistake in the first game i dont think there would have been any chance of getting him here but since he did make the mistake i think he will be here and would love him in Miami

Round 6b: Robert Johnson: he is a FS from Utah and would be a good pick up here and could end up being a very good NFL player i like him at FS better then i like Chris Clemons.

Round 6c: Mike Williams: I think he is one of the better WR IMO but has made some bad choices in his college career and i would be willing to take a shot on him in the sixth round the only reason i see him here is because of his poor work out at the NFL combine.

    Round 7: BPA on defense.

    Next years starting Defense
    DE: Kendall Langford
    NT: Jeff Owens/ Jason Ferguson
    DE: Randy Starks

SOLB: Jason Worilds/ Channing Crowder on running downs
    ILB: Sean Weatherspoon
    ILB: Karlos Dansby
    WOLB: Jason Taylor/ Cameron Wake

    CB: Vontae Davis
    FS: Reshad Jones
    SS: Yeremiah Bell
    CB: Sean Smith

    Next Season Starting Offense
    LT: Jake Long
    LG: Justin Smiley
    C: Jake Grove
    RG: Richie Incognito
    RT: Vernon Carey

    QB: Chad Henne
    RB: Ronnie Brown
    FB: Lou Polite
    TE: Ed Dickson
    WR: Arelious Benn
WR: Ted Ginn/ Brian Hartline(i say let them battle in camp and who ever wins gets the jobs)
    Solt WR: Devone Bess

If I could choose between Benn and Thomas, I'd take Thomas in a heartbeat.

Why take Weatherspoon at #12 when Jamar Chaney will be there at #43?

Chaney is waaay underrated and imho he could play both OLB slots and ILB at least part time/flll in.

Why take Another ILB that early when we have Crowder. I would be much happier with Jerry Hughes

Vice versa. Despite my feelings coming from having watched both play, I 'm waiting to see DT run anything close to a 4.36. And even if he does, he doesn't have to short area explosion that Benn does. And I'll say this as well: even though I obviously like Benn, who is faster than Dez Bryant and DT, from what I've seen Benn doesn't have the explosion of Bryant, which is a big factor. As I've said before, for my money Desmond Briscoe has more explosion than DT. Bryant, when I've watched him, has that in spades, on top of the size, physicality, etc., dude just has it. And that makes me less concerned that he's not a 4.4. guy. DT, even if he runs a 4.4, is just not all that explosive. More than any other WR in the draft class, watching Dez Bryant makes me think to myself, "yup, this dude has it."

I'm not saying I think he could do it, but I have seen some opinions (not saying from anyone held in high regard  It may have been, I just can't recall) that Weatherspoon could play OLB in a 3-4.

I mean he is roughly the same size as Dansby who was rumored as a possibility at that spot.

I know Dansby has shown to be far more physical and therefore more likely for the role, I'm just saying I don't know that we could count it out for sure.

Crowder is the answer to nothing. His 09 was awful, his 08 was great, before that consistently below average. Guy has never forced a fumble in 5 years. He is average at best.

Instead of weatherspoon though in the deal down with the Texans there should McClain to replace crowder.

Crowder is not perfect but he is not bad. This upcoming season should tell us alot. No sense in drafting a ILB when we can get a OLB who will play now

No its not. Crowder is good enough to play inside LB in a 3-4. He is also young and shown that he can be a good player. He will never be a star but ur not going to have stars at everyspot. What we need is a FS and OlB desperatley. ILB is not a pressing need to adress in the first rd. LoL @ Maj calling someone a homer

The problem is you need someone in the middle that can do more than tackle. Crowder can't do **** other than tackle. He can't shed blocks, can't strip, can't catch I wouldn't mind finding him a replacement. Maybe not early in the draft but I see no reason upgrading the LB core further.

Psshh I think ive become quite level headed compared to how I was on FH.

Is there really going to be someone at 12 that teams would want to trade their 2nd and 5th just to move up and get? I think our front office would love to trade down, most front offices would but it doesn't seem to happen.

Depends on if they feel like the player they really want will fall i think they might be trying to go after Joe Haden and he wont be there with the 20th pick or CJ spiller

I have zero problem with that. The fact is that would be ideal cause we don't have a good backup @ ILB. However I don't wanna draft a backup @ 12.

Yet you think I am being a homer all the time.

No doubt Bryant has it, physically. I'm more worried about whether or not he gets it mentally.
As far as Benn goes, I don't dislike him at all, I just think he has the tendancy to disappear and he doesn't have the greatest hands or run the best routes.
But I love his combination of speed and physicality.

Semi, Chaney is as fast as Jerrod Mayo, possibly faster, and Mayo has maybe 10 pds on Chaney, so why not?

Chaney's 40 times iirc were the fastest for any Lb were they not? And he is in the 240 range, so he is as large and faster than Akin A, has prototype speed for a Will, and is probably a bit undersized for the Sam but that doesn't mean he couldn't play over there as he is also massively strong.

And cheap, he is grading as a high of a 4th rd pick...

Padre ... have no problem with Chaney .... big, strong, and fast ....

I am on board with a trade with the Texans as a likelihood, if Berry/Thomas/Bryant are all gone ... then trade rd 1 pick to DEN for Marshall.

Players i want are: OLB - Worilds/Edds (sign JT for 1 more year); ILB - Chaney (sign Jeanty); WR - Easely (trade rd 1 pick to DEN for Marshall) .... which will still leave S as a position of need.

If Berry/Bryant/Thomas are available then take Marshall off and add Berry/Bryant/Thomas. Now, you 'could' trade Carey for Marshall .... and get everything you need .... and keep the same picks as above ...

This team would be built to win NOW, and for the future at the same time .....
